Holloway has faced as good or better competition than anyone in the UFC and Topuria is another of the greats he'll meet when they fight Oct. 26 in Abu Dhabi for the featherweight title in the main event of UFC 308.
I asked Holloway if he thinks he can force his way into the Fighter of the Year race by beating Topuria. That would give him wins over Justin Gaethje and Topuria, but Holloway said he thinks that's Alex Pereira's award for 2024.
