Your only as good as your opposition and islam is one of a few fighters with a SOLID resume, khabibs is nothing compared to islams I personally believe hes a better fighter, islam walks khabibs record I cant say the same the other way round.

@@souhailzerrouk163 alex pereira & jon jones both deserve it more. max probably even. at least max defeated a contender at a higher weight class. when we talk about pound for pound it doesn't usually mean oh this guy is really great at having smaller weight classes come up to fight him at his weight class and defeating them lol. In fact Islam almost lost to Volk the first time. How the hell could anyone that almost lost to a lower weight class even be considered I have no idea. That first fight with Volk ended with Volk on top smashing Islam lol. Islam had banked enough rounds but it certainly wasn't clear Volk wouldn't have finished him if it had just gone on a lilttle longer. Islam was spent.
