Max Hurd & Benedict Foley Talk Interior Design Inspiration & Host A Festive Feast | The Dinner Party

Creative consultant Max Hurd is joined by interior decorator Benedict Foley, as we explore Max’s London home whilst the pair prepare for a Christmas dinner party. Working together, both Benedict & Max have fashioned an interior that ties together his family roots with clever colour combinations and expertly staged antiques.
After figuring out the scheme, Max & Benedict enlisted the help of creatives whose work they were fond of. “It made sense to go into our address book and champion the work of people who we love and care about,” Max explains as they reflect on the project’s early stages. Yes lady ,it is a good thing that its main hue is not a boring white ,but however ,in this home I do not see fittingly matched hues ,furnishings and decoratiove objects. I would not want to dwell in such a home or if I had not other choice I would feel unhappy in such a over-decorated inner living setting and especiually if the house has not a tree-filled garden.

Im really sorry, I try to be positive in comments cuz its people's homes, ya know, but...the salmon and green living space? the purple and red staircase? It's vomit inducing 🙈. The color combos- and even the single colored rooms- are in such jarring combinations and such overbearing tones. And then they furnish the house with the cheapest looking decor possible, ffs it looks like a set! I dislike a white box but a vibrant palette still needs to be cohesive in order for me to be calm. Here, everything is competing against the next element which makes it seem overdesigned.
