Boxing achievements I have to agree. I love both and have watched the last 14 years of both careers. Ultimately it will always come down to preference. Both are greatness. Both did amazing things for boxing. Both came from tough childhoods. As a boxing fan I enjoyed mannys fights more, always got excited to see him fight.

I wont compare Pacquiao’s childhood to floyds, Pacquiao was living on his town province during the civil war that happened on the southern part of the Philippines plus where they live was the main battle ground of the war where bullets flying tru their house every time the rebels and military encounter one another. Many also works as a construction worker and works hard labor at fishport while doing boxing while earning 100 pesos ($2) so he can send to his family. He slept on the same ring where he trains with blood and sweat. And floyd came from a boxing family, while Pacquiao did boxing to survive poverty.

I respect Max Kellerman just pure analysis not hating no racism, just going to the facts and not looking on whether he is american and Floyd also is and Pac is an asian.....Well many could not accept this because they are a religious believer of Floyds greatness. Maybe Pacquiao is not under the top 10 of the most amazingly and technically skilled boxers. But we are talking about accomplishments here. It is not bout how handsomely he beat his opponents and also not about his losses but his whole career and his achievement that no any other boxers has achieved. Pac got achievements had only done by him and will be hard for the future boxers to achieve. It is not from me but it has been said by many boxing analyst and trainers such as Max himself and Robert Garcia and others. I do believe that Floyds skills and intelligence in the ring is always better than Pacquiao. But Pacquiao's journey is about a story of a non- american boxer, the always smaller guy, and started with only his left hand in his arsenal but faced all the odds, win or lose, knocking out an opponent or being knocked out but became even greater. We should not hate any of the 2 boxers but I do believe that if you don't accept this maybe it is in you that has a problem so go check yourselves.

When Mayweather fought Pacquiao, he made it an ugly fight. He looked like he was running for one. There's defensive boxing and there's running. Floyd ran. When running didn't work and Pacquioa was being a threat, Floyd used his size to clinch. So he ran, clinched and countered. It was a very ugly fight. I've seen analysis on KZbin stating Manny won the fight and counted the punches in slow motion. Manny landed more punches than the official record stated, but Floyd always uses the same ref and had judges in his pocket.

Floyd was undefeated only because he was conscious not to lose, not to take risks! He fought B level champions in Baldomir, Gatti, Manfredy, Maidana, not in his prime Canelo, etc.. His Best win was the drained Diego Corrales in lightweight.!! Pacman was more successful than Floyd in welterweight who is a small welterweight. To add to that at this time, guys we're fighting scared when they fought Pacman, scared meaning they were running/defensive- see Clottey, Mosley, Vargas and Broner.If you tried to stand and fight you either get stopped or knocked down. Opponents were never scared of Floyd yet they were with with the "little man". As aggressor you take risks which is why a round should be scored in favor of aggressor if there's no action or too close to call. in my opinion, only aggressors should even be in discussion for GOAT status. can you watch two counterpunchers fight? Pacquiao never ducked anyone, took all the best at that time. Floyd is a cherry picker. 3.) Common opponents: Pac destroyed Cotto (split by Fraud), Dela Hoya destroyed, didn't even win a single round (Oscar won in a lot of people's eyes vs Floyd - again Floyd is counterpunching!) we know the story for Hatton. And now Marquez, Floyd was still counterpunching the smaller Marquez who is also a counterpuncher!! He's really a chicken..Because of the 4 fights, Marquez was finally able to nail Pacman with that lucky punch. he was going to get knocked out the next round. Max brings up P4P and in a sense he is correct. Manny climbed more weight classes so he's technically better than Floyd or anyone else in that regard. The issue I have is Floyd climbed a lot of weight classes to. It's not just about being 50-0. He was 50-0 in 5 weight classes and lineal in 4. Manny lost 7 times and had 2 draws. One of those losses was to the guy he's being compared to. I don't buy the aspect of "It's incredible for Manny to be competitive with Floyd considering how small he started."
