Filipinos loved him so much because he mirror and show case the real culture and true attitude of every Filipino. True Filipinos by nature are very resilient, hardworking, & respectful people, they can work hard and survived in any adverse situation and send their hard earned income to their siblings that left behind in the Philippines and that’s their greatest happiness in life. Imagine if you are fighting, inspired, and motivated because you know by heart that 100 million Filipinos are behind your back and all are praying and supporting for you. @@romeobenedito2438 Of course, no one is perfect. However, I and many others don't feel he was cheated. He lied maybe but not cheated. Remember how he wouldn't share his pre-fight press conference with Floyd so they had theirs at the Wynn (I believe) instead of the MGM? Well, he stood outside of the hotel in front of his fans and said "Don't worry, everything is fine, don't worry." Then when he lost, he had nothing but disdain and excuses. The truth is, someone claiming to be a profit told him the week before that he would win the fight and I believe that's what he relied on. I also think that's why he wants this rematch so badly. Maybe if he gets it and wins, that Word to share Christ with Mayweather will kick back in? In a nutshell, I think the guy is fake. If he was really that humble, talking to Floyd after a loss would have gone a long way. Remember, right after the fight Floyd said he would give him a rematch. Then Manny kept talking and making excuses and that was off. A little bit of silence might have landed him that precious rematch already.

But a couple times he said before the fight something like (I'm paraphrasing), "Even if I lose, it's okay because I still went toe to toe with a legend." True, but that's something your momma should be telling you. He said that out loud multiple times that I started to wonder if he was confident. But, yeah, Pac is a freak of nature--got power in both hands. Now, he is one of only 5 fighters in history to win titles after 40--the others include George Foreman (who praised his performance last Saturday night) and Bernard Hopkins. I'm so glad that I got to live through the Manny era.
