Probably the worst moment you could have as a parent, is to watch your kid be in danger and couldn't do anything about it.. that image is horrifying when I think of Kobe and Gianna's final moment. I can honestly say that I got to witness Kobe at his last trip at the Garden when he played in his final season. Still have pictures from that game. It's the 1st and only time I ever got to see him live at a game. He's the reason I continued to follow basketball after MJ. Thinking back, I guess I was around for #8 Kobe, but I didn’t really watch until he was #24, and at that point, I was a Celtics fan, so I was not a Kobe fan, but my opinion of him grew over time and I look back and think of what a great opponent he was, and how entertaining it was to watch him play when it wasn’t versus a team I was rooting for, it’s just so terrible to think that he’s gone.
