Arjun Rawat and others! No "remasters" and other things! The first and second parts of “Max Payne” are magnificent and perfect in the original; exactly in the form in which they were released in 2001 and 2003, respectively! And do not require any "artificial" improvements! If you are true fans of this game, then you can not disagree with this statement! There are perfect textures, models, and animations! So is the whole sound. And "HD remakes"! ?? What do you?! For example, I replayed both parts myself a year ago: there are excellent textures for the "Full-HD" format, and the second part of dilogy - I would even dare say, for "4k"... And whatever “remake” of “Max”`es is, I am convinced that it can only be: a typical “commercial project”! And to me, as a lover of this dilogy, this would be an “insult to feelings” and something... artistic taste!.. Although, at the same time, such a “remake” would have pleased gamers who are now 8, 10, 15, 18 years old, & who newer playing original; and would have been this product selling well ...

I remember when I first played this stage. It was bizarre enough to see that we were able to play as Mona, but to get to the construction site stage where Max wishes not to be dead and actually relied on Mona to get through. It's like we really got to see him act, think, and show for himself when we weren't playing as him. I really feel like the dynamic Max and Mona had were powerful character and story wise. This song along delivers that pretty damn well.

I didn't really like Max Payne 2's story. Felt too convoluted for its own good, and was missing that tongue-in-cheek humor that gave the first one a lot more character. Out of all the possibilities they could have done with 2, I didn't expect taking down Vlad to be the one they'd go for.

Dreadnought I thought Max Payne 2 captures the essence of noir comic/film. Mp1 was rather simplistic revenge story. While Max character development in Mp1 was good everyone else feel like cookie cutter stereotypes. In MP2 most characters had great story arc, character development and felt more human. Max Payne himself went through many levels of character evolution in the game. MP2 had a good mix intrigue, action, betrayal, double crossing and emotional ride.
