I love the fact Rockstar actually made Max into a painkiller addict since he used painkillers a lot in the 1st 2 games so it makes sense he'd become addicted to them. Love that rockstar attention to detail

The thing they said in the final cutscene (I have to simplify it because there's a lot of curse words in it and KZbin filters it out). Wilson was asking Becker: "What are you doing? Do you think you can kill people in cold blood?" And Becker just tells him to keep writing tickets and to not get involved.

James Mcaffery died from plasma cancer, RIP. It’s more sad than dark cause Max Payne wife and child died, got framed for murder and on the run, he couldn’t get medical treatment because he was wanted and took painkillers for his injuries, cleared his name, Max Payne 2 was he fell in love with an assassin and he was making bad decisions and really haven’t got over his wife and his newborn death and got hooked on painkillers. This should been the Fall Of Max Payne 3 instead of 2. Working in Brazil and starting over but his addiction to drink and painkillers has age him, to me it’s more sad than dark cause what he went through in all the series of Max Payne.

Yet he changed by the end and didn't get killed. Punisher holds on to his pain like Max and does use it for vigilante justice but he never has that peace. John Wick 4 ends with a different kind of peace. But Max, he is one to really admire especially by the end of this game.

So this is the game - or series - that they took the idea of cinematic killcams from for Red Dead Redemption 2. As well as Michael's special ability in GTA 5. It's really cool to see how Rockstar implements ideas from one game or series onto another. I know other developers do it too, but it's especially noticeable in Rockstar games.

i wish this game had P2P coop wave-defense mode, it'd be cool to fight off waves of enemies with the mechanics from singleplayer, they already figured out slow-mo in multiplayer so maybe if they made a remaster (tho it isn't necessary, visuals already are fine), it would be nice to have a mode like this

Played this game for the first time just after you beat your World at War campaign. The gameplay and level design was so good that I played the game enough to beat it in every difficulty including Old School for those sweet achievements. All I need now is to beat Disc 2 in New York Minute. Hell no I will not go for “The Shadows Rushed Me” Achievement

Hi Pro! Thank you very much for having decided to bring this game to the channel. Unfortunately, i cannot give a complete translation of those Brazilians man, because I'm not studying Portuguese. I'm studying: English and Spanish, but since the Italian language and the Portuguese language, are similar to each other, i can try to translate some quotes. Cuzão, when he arrived in the parking lot, told Rodrigo, "what's happening here, are we doing some local justice?" I'm not able to translate the quote from Rodrigo though, that he says after the first quote of Cuzão. Cuzão after the first quote of Rodrigo, he told him: "who gave the right to killing people in cold blood?" Rodrigo told him to shut up, because the only thing that he (Cuzão) can do is issuing tickets (I'm not able to translate the rest of the quote though). After that, Cuzão, he ordered those two policeman to call an ambulance. Sorry Pro, I've tried my best to translate those quotes, but since I'm not studying Portuguese, this is the best i can do, I've counted on the fact that Italian language and the Portuguese language, are pretty similar to each other. I would say this is definitely Rockstar’s darkest and most depressing game. Even darker than Manhunt or any other title because of how unexpected alot of the twists and turns were in this game+ the lack of humour and satire and how real the subject matter was in here.

The irony about May Payne is his name is "Max Payne" and throughout the entire series he is emotionally, mentally & physically in pain. He's causing others pain not because he has to to survive, but because they are connected to the ppl that caused him pain. Everytime someone says your name you're reminded of the pain, but at the same time you know your name is feared. And ultimately the only thing he has to stop the pain are the "pain killers." And not even those can kill Max Payne.

This game still hits me hard. Also the dialogue between Da Silva and Becker is basically Da Silva yelling at the UFE that they do not have the right to kill unarmed men in cold blood, and Becker saying he should poke his head where it doesn’t belong and stick to handing out parking tickets. The Commando Sombra also stands for Shadow Command and UFE for Unidade de Forces Especiais or Special Forces Unit.

I really miss the multiplayer of this game. It's one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I've ever had, and the fact that you can play as story characters in Deathmatch incentivized me to play the New York Minute mode to unlock them. I never got to the final Prestige though since the community died out before I could do that.

Hey Professional, i'm a big fan of your work and recently played Max Payne 3 as well, the game is amazing and the portuguese dialogue is very good as well, specially from the side characters, the main ones like Da Silva and Becker are a bit choppy. I´m from Brasil and i'll translate it for you. Da Silva -Hey! You there, what the f*ck are you doing?! The local justice. Becker - Who the f*ck do you think you are, talking to my men like that? Da Silva - Do you think you have the rights to kill people in cold blood, Becker? Becker- Shut up, assh*le. Keep giving fines. Don't poke your nose where you're not wanted. The dialogue from the Comando Sombra enemies is also very fun to hear, they mainly throw insults and slurs at you.
