Max Payne 2 ending theme was debut single from the band PoetsOfTheFall. This band is now having 20 years celebration tour. Music from the band are in games Max Payne2, Alan Wake, Rochard, Death Rally and Control. And 3DMark 05 :) In Alan Wake music was from pseudo band called OldGodsOfAsgard. Same band.

A buddy of mine is a Warhammer 40k fan and told me he is waiting for Space Marine 2. I then rummaged on my Steam Backlog of Shame and found Space Marine 1. It runs quite well on the Deck. Even Streamed it to my potato laptop + small bluetooth potato mouse. Never wanted more to kill orks in my life in the name of the Emperor!

Thank you for making this video. I've considered playing the series all over again on the Steam Deck but forgot until now. Did you get the audio working in the cutscenes (the graphic novel moments)? I remember needing to run something to fix the audio files on more modern Windows. Would we still need to do the same on Steam Deck? Nevertheless, thank you for this vid and the many previous videos you put out as of late!

Hey man, thanks for this video! Just trying Max Payne 1 on Deck for the first time. I find that even with the mouse sensitivity set all the way to Low, I can't aim at all with the stick, it's just too sensitive! A slight press and he spins all the way around. I need to use the trackpad. In this vid though looks like you're able to use the stick pretty well. Did you change settings in the Steamdeck itself to lower the stick sensitivity?

Hello! Yes, I needed to lower the sensitivity of the right stick on the Steam Input controller profile for Max Payne, it had to go wayyyy too low

The steam deck is designed for temps up to 90°C and 15 Watts is the optimal power draw for the system. Higher than 15 watts means the system is struggling a bit, making the CPU/GPU draw more power for higher clocks which means higher temps My system will hit 86°C for stuff like Prey (2017) there's a safety shut off that kicks in at 103 I think. Sometimes the best thing is to limit the TDP in the (...) menu per game so it saves battery and temps

Back then patching was harder to deploy, we are talking CDs and DVDs as the way to get those games to people, so polishing was crucial, nowadays with patching the devs release incomplete things way more often, on optimization I'm not sure, we brute force now with way better hardware

Hola Santiago se que no tiene nada que ver con este video, pero te quería consultar en alguno reciente para asegurarme. Tengo una 1050 de 2gb y me quiero comprar el mafia definitive edition. Mi duda es que tenes 2 videos donde lo probas con esa grafica pero en un video te anda mucho mejor que el mas "reciente", entonces no estoy seguro si arriesgarme. Juego a 768p y tengo 16 de ram, en el mas viejo jugas a 720p con todo alto y llegas a mas de 50. Quería saber si también puedo lograr eso o incluso 60fps bajando algunas cosas a medios.

Hola! En el video que pruebo los 3 juegos solo muestro 1 ajuste en 1080p, en el otro son varias resoluciones. La 1050 llega a 60 si es 720p, pero depende mucho de tu procesador, ya que el Mafia Definitive Edition es más exigente en ese aspecto también

You can on Steam Input no problem, I personally like to enable gyro when I'm holding the left trigger, but you can customize it as you like, works well!

Asegurate que esté en DX11 + vsync off, fuera de eso, no hay razón para que no llegue a 60 si los ajustes del video son idénticos

Yes, you can also set the pads so when you have your finger on them, it enables gyro, that's how I like to do it, but using the pad to aim does work :D

Because they never updated the games to fix those issues, so modders fixed it on their own
