Thanks for showing a performance review of this. Sadly, though, this game, as many other contemporary releases (unfortunately), suffers from being always online even when you play the singleplayer campaign - you literally can get disconnected while playing the singleplayer campaign. LMAO

All these downgrades and not even getting 60fps. Some games shouldnt be played on the go. Its like the Switch with Doom and Wolfenstein. Downgraded to hell just to get the games on a portable system.

Might need to test with 4Gb of VRAM, that made a big difference for me in MW2019. Windows doesn't change the memory pool on the fly like SteamOS.

Is it possible to play camaign on steam os?

The stuttering might be due to the GamePass version being an older build cuz (at the moment) apparently the Steam and Battle Net versions have DLSS and FG support but the Game Pass version does not (I haven't installed the game on my laptop so I can't confirm that)

Man... Just imagine the amount of money Activision could make more off flipping the switch and letting Linux play! Also wow, I never knew you can't even play Zombies (or Campaign but I haven't played the Campaign in years) offline! Sucks Newer Call of Duty is just completely Anti Steam Deck ;~;

Is gtx 1050 TI compatible with HP ProDesk 400 G7 Microtower PC (31P90PA)?

UE5 games is something I will never play on the Deck, heck I even found Hellblade II to be fairly unattractive on my pretty serious PC setup (1440p, RX6800, 5700X3D). The engine forces you to use upscaling to get good framerates, but once you do you get terrible image quality as a result. Both TSR and FSR aren't good enough to resolve all the noise from UE5s rendering techniques.

Do I have to get the command from somewhere? because I typed it in and nothing changed for me. It’s still a black screen 😭

Greetings, yeah, Steam Deck is most certainly the very very very last priority of NMRiH2's devs. They first need to finish the game during the Early Access stage and the Steam Deck compatibilty might be a sweet bonus option just like a candy for the 1.0 version.

That is some horrible FSR, this is one of the reasons I don't use FSR when I can and choose XeSS when available. All that fizzling looks horrible and I'd take a lower frame rate if that meant much better image quality. All of that is very noticeable even on the Steam deck itself

The game is running well so yeah forced settings don't make sense I would like to see if quality fsr would hold at 30fps but cant try it. I'm also unsure but can you trick the game with a prompt into thinking your display is 1080p so the performance fsr would only drop to 540p

I assume it defaults to a higher preset causing the crash. Wish they'd default to that Deck preset and let you tweak from there.
