Wow... I can't even begin to explain how excellent that was. You certainly did justice to the Max Payne movie with this simple 8 minute video. Outstanding job to everyone involved, because I had goosebumps the whole time... the music and all the sound effects were straight from the first game, and that is really what did it for me. Very good. The only downside was the acting (which, personally I thought was very cheesy) but your visual effects were great! The one part that I wasn't to crazy about was when he got shot and the game reloaded, it kinda took away from the video. Otherwise, this is the best fan max payne next to Corridordigitals video!

HONESTLY I like this way more than Max Payne Retribution (a longer and supposed higher budget short film). There's so much impact, the editing is fantastic and realistic. Most importantly, you go by the true original story, Retribution didn't make any sense, it just drags and drags. Even though the voice acting is not as good in this one, this is excellent. Humorous and not super edgy.

Well, we switched those characters because it was really difficult to find a woman in her fifties who spoke english and could perform those few stunts in Madrid. We had a very tight budget so we couldn't hire professional actors. We decided Vinnie was the best choice tu substitute Nicole Horne. You might find the loading sequence drives you a little out of the story and your're probably right but we just loved that video game reference so much. We don't want to take ourselves too serious. ;)

In fact nobody was really convinced the day we shot it but after editing we found it's a funny moment everybody laughs and a nice way to make gamers remember the original experience. So why not?
