Nothing spoils great old classics like a horrible German pastiche of them, but then Germans and kitsch always go hand in hand. It's not enough to half close your throat and put on fake AMerican accent to pretend you're Fred Astaire. It's only enough to fool the fools but since there are literally billions of them this revolting caricature will do very nicely for himself.
