One of the coolest details thats easy to miss is that every time Akuma "Kills" Chameleon, he loses one of the ninja's powers. Its most easily visible when Akuma Raging Demon's Chameleon when he's frozen, and he tries to ice clone immediately afterwards and it fails. Thats why at the end of the fight he's only able to use Scorpion's moveset.

This shit was the epitome of Nostalgia, fanfic , and a MUGEN fanatics wet dream when this came out. There was a channel that was making an MK vs SF game. They completed Chameleon, Scorpion, Ryu Shin Lvl 2 Akuma , and Reptile from the M2 Surviving video. Shit was raw, all the supers were true to the source material. Much simpler times back then.

Lemme put it like this, I fucking WISH they implemented the ability to just do a deliberately slow fireball and turn that into a STAGE HAZARD for a bit. (Obviously downsides would be that enough fireballs would remove it, Banishing Flat would negate it but risks eating a BUNCH of hits as a trade off) Obviously it makes for mind games because suddenly that confidence you read the super right vanishes but it has the risk of 'Well now YOU'RE trapped' as the fireball will hurt you too if you make contact. I know that there's no way to balance that shit out but it's just really neat.
