Brazil 2024's winning race strategy: Don't pit until the inevitable red flag. Three drivers used this strategy, and after the red flag they finished the race 1, 2, 3. Lance Stroll didn't want to race in that weather. After safely spinning off the track on the formation lap, he decided to drive into the trap to end his race. How Lando Norris presented himself in the media after the race was very bad. He didn't take it like a man ("Max got lucky." "The rules were against me."). Lando was on pole for Brazil, there are no excuses.

When he thinks he’s fucked and there’s nothing else to lose, he just says “fuck it, I’m losing anyway, I’m going to bet all my cards and fucking go hard” and it works for him most of the time. We hear him say that sometimes, when he speaks about his first F1 win for example he said “at worse I was going to finish P4, at best I was going on the podium. I have been lucky enough to follow champions like Lewis and Alonso who are still on the grid for a large part of their careers and have seen many races that were just as iconic as this one. Maybe that is why I can't say this performance is THE best I’ve ever seen but it’s definitely the best i’ve ever seen in a long time 100%. Idk I guess it makes me a little sad that new fans won't understand how iconic and talented the old champions were just because they didn't witness them back then 😅

I genuinely think that the lando comment, while it doesn't sound good, is taken very out of context. He was asked about himself in relation to the vsc and the red flag, and in relation to both him being on the short end of the stick and the guys who ended up on the podium he said it had to do with luck and not talent, so I would think part of the statement about talent has to do with him defending his own driving saying that it's not that he lacked the talent for the result, he got unlucky. I believe later in the same interview he also praised max's drive.

I understand thinking vettel is overrated but to genuinely not like him is insane to me (unless you’re only talking about him when he was young and not how he is as a grown man rn), dude just seems like a chill guy

Max's win was incredible, but his 20s lead + FL after FL was truly a Khabib "I wanted to bite his heart" moment. Savage.

Irvine narrowly lost to Hakkinen in 1999 and the interview with Kravitz was about how much Irvine hated DRS back in 2011 🙂
