That was a powerful speech you gave yesterday. How hard must that be to talk to your own son's killer. We pray for you and you are in our thoughts. From the Netherlands we wish your family a lot of strength. Alex will never be forgotten 🙏🏻 !!!

If anything comes out of this. I hope the law is changed. For the victims statements to be taken into consideration. And also majority rules in the death penalty. This trial changed my entire prospective. Of how I feel on the death penalty. If there ever was a reason. 17 people. 14 of them were children. This was it.

God bless you Max for what you are trying to do. You are trying to turn something horrible into something positive. This was absolutely horrible. I can't begin to know what all of these families went through. There is no getting over something like this. If it were my child I certainly wouldn't. Shame on our so called joke of a justice system. These families deserved better! The defense should have presented a measure of decorum and respect, and the fact that they didn't makes me sick.

Not only the 17, but the 2 additional families whose loved ones committed suicide within a year after the event.

TWENTY FIVE OR SIX TWO FOUR WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES WHEN I WAS ALEX'S AGE... I WATCH AND REVEL IN UCONN'S VERSION OF IT SEVERAL TIMES WEEKLY. I CAN DO SO WITH MODERATE TEARS TODAY IN LIEU OF WRACKING SOBS AND WAILING. IT'S BECOME ALEX'S SONG IN MY MIND

In my knowledge, Alex wanted to attend University of Connecticut. I wonder if he would be attending UConn if he were still here. Heartbreaking!

I was fuming when I found out the monster murderer didn’t have the death penalty This defense team needs to be replaced with a more serious team because the giggling they did disgusted me

No it is not. These families and victims were robbed of justice by jurors Melody Vanoy and Denise Cunha This guy will get 3 hot meals a day and free health care so he'll be able to comfortably masturbate to the memory of killing these kids for the next 70 years He gets protective custody. A tablet to email his girlfriends. He can get a college degree. He can get married. All paid for by the victims families

Please stop using the gunman's name. As Linda Beigel Schulman has asked you, please refer to him as the confessed convicted Parkland murderer.
