I finally know what his voice was like 😂

He wasn’t the unknown individual spoken of on the internet. Max Schreck was an established actor who’s life story is no mystery.

you mean the people who may have thought he was a real vampire?

0:09 I can totally see it in his posture. He's still got some Orlok in him.

13 years onwards? i believe no extreme method actor would cling to a role that long. he just was gaunt and a bit stiff in his movements.

The voice of Count Orlok. I wonder what he would have sounded like speaking English.

I'm not really sure he could be considered the voice of Count Orlock, since well, it's a silent film

@@stephenquinn3447 You can see actors in silent films talking though. If there is no recorded sound, it doesn't mean you can't imagine how it was on the set.

@@stephenquinn3447 I think OP means we're now hearing the voice of Count Orlok, as in how he actually sounds but didn't know as Nosferatu was silent.

he didnt make much of nosferatu. it was "a thing" for him to do. no one had any idea back then, that it would become what it is 100 years later. max schreck smirked it once off as "ah yes - the old vampire!" as much as its known.
