well I went scarping yesterday and first time in months and I got a man to donate me a pickup while i was out scrapping and it looks just like yours dark blue pickup. I was out scrapping as I said and this young man came out and stated that great grandfather died and he gave me basically his old 1999 Chevrolet S10 pickup i was so happy i almost fainted... this really happen. God works in ways we dont expect.

That was really a lot of metal you found today! I hope the prices will increase at your scrap yards, you'd deserve it! :-) Unfortunately there are almost no cities that have these fix dates for garbage here, at least for the bulky waste. You have to order its collection. That won't make it easy to collect large amounts of metal, even though its collection is not allowed but it's accepted, other than dumpster diving.

Suggestion: Consider loading the larger items first as the smaller items fit around it easier. If the tubes were shorter I'd put them in first then load the larger on top of them. Really like that outdoor fireplace.(Load Master)

Good question. They sell it to either larger scrap yards, to Mills or foundries to have it melted down to be prepared to make new items that are made of metal

All the cast iron seating and parts should get you money by selling the pieces. People love those things for projects. That big seating piece just needs a lick of paint and some new seating to go on it. Would look great in anyone's garden.

Did the right thing holding the bike back. You can check the serial number in frame to find out the year. There stamped on rear drop outs or where you slide the axle of rear wheel to bolt on.

I tried to get a real nice water heater with the pump built in and even though it was out in the street I was unable to get the occupants to the door to confirm it was not intended for use, since it was not with the regular trash. Doing the right thing always comes first. I ended up getting a generator and a huge compressor after that through the same method.

I like really big coffee cups. Do you think you could have the company come up with some larger cups that would also fit in cup holders in your car, that would be handy, kind of like the ones they have at Panera bread.
