This season was so interesting to me personally because the way Vecna gets into their heads parallels how Purely Obsessive OCD patterns typically go for me. He puts these horrible thoughts into their minds, drawing on their worst fears and throwing intrusive thoughts in their faces. Making them question what kind of person they are and using that judgement of themselves and their guilt to isolate them from their friends and family. And it gets worse as they suffer silently, feeling too much shame to talk to anyone about it, so he's able to manipulate them without anyone knowing until it's too late.

I FINALLY CAN EXPLAIN: Ok so to the people who have not watched Stranger Things. So in season 4, (the season to this clip) is based off of a group of teenagers and a few young adults who fight against some creature named Vecna. Vecna easily possesses others and easily kills. So they have to fight against it. What happened tho is the kid who looked scary is named “Lucas” he got possessed but not killed, and the other girl is named Max. Ik this is a bad explanation, but the show it on Netflix it have a huge story, this isn’t even the start of s4-

explanation: max (the girl) was being possessed by this guy vecna (the creepy dude at the end) and he was trying to kill her. the way he kills people is by putting them in a trance and then killing them in their own mind then they die irl. vecna had already gotten to max once and almost killed her but max survived by listening to music. this time, they all figured out that vecna just needed one more kill to destroy the world and they all knew that max was gonna be his final target. so they all went along with their plan to stop him and max and lucas (the boy at the beginning) were in charge of baiting vecna and trying to get him to get max into her trance so he’s vulnerable to be killed. after they couldn’t get him for a while, max figured out she needed to be vulnerable with her feelings to bait him. so she was saying stuff like she wished her brother had died and stuff like that. she doesn’t feel when she goes into the trance so when she did vecna made himself look like lucas and said all those things to max to make her feel worse. (the show is stranger things season 4 episode 9)

I believe will and Mike Will die in season 5 because (starting off with Mike) in Nancy's visions when with vecna she sees down town on fire and her family gone. Her family isn't gone yet but the other visions are true which means Mike may die. In DandD Vecna can't be killed because his soul is an an object so if that isn't destroyed then he can't die so in stranger things the object is the hivemind and will is still part of the hive mind when he says that Vecna is still hurting he can feel Vecna. There may be more deaths but those are my suspected ones at the moment.
