If a car turns, it will hang on the other side because the car wants to go in a straight line but the grip and downforce is forcing it to turn, meaning the countering forces will be acted upon on the different lateral side. Therefore, right corner = tyre wear on the left side and vice versa.

Yes he spun. The screwoverpart was the 10 laps on hard and then 24 on medium. I was watching it and even i knew, that was total bullshit. To onestop the one car and give the other a 24 lap stint with a tyre thats only good for 18 max... send him to traffic twice. 24 laps 2. They weren't faster or Max was not better than Lewis. There tyres were lasting a lot longer than normal. You can understand it when your tyres blister after 5 laps and Max can push for over 20 laps with no wear.
