Oh my goodness, Max and Heather are adorable together ! 💕💕 Max was so full of energy and excitement all throughout this video, so many interesting and different things all happening in the same weekend. I had to laugh when I noticed that every time Max was running around his room and he stepped or tripped on something, he went and bit Mr. Octopus, LOLOL .. It appears Mr. Octopus is the go to toy to blame everything on, hysterical !! At the end when Dan was telling Max about his upcoming trip to the vet to get his nails trimmed, based on Max's expression I think he understood him, especially when Dan imitated the buzz sound of the electric filer, lol. @@rhondaz356 I think you’re so correct about a favorite toy for Max being a dubious honor Rhonda. That’s the perfect description for Mr. Octopus’ situation 😂. The wonderful thing is that Max seems to have found very appropriate ways of releasing his frustrations, anxieties or physical and emotional needs. I watch a couple veterinarian series, and many people with birds or other exotic animals have serious issues with their pets as they grow up and reach sexual maturity. Some owners seem to continually rub or stroke their birds where it may seem harmless but it can cause excitement in their pet. Same thing with aggressive behavior. Rough play with puppies for example tells the dog this is acceptable, but when they weigh 75 pounds, the owner isn’t so happy with this behavior. Dan seems to have found a good balance with Max, allowing him to have his Snoopy time or Mr. Octopus time and relieving his stresses in an acceptable way, without causing harm to himself or his hooman. I’m certainly no expert, but it sure seems like a lot of owners don’t handle these issues well and their pets end up with physical problems or being given away. So kudos to Dan for allowing Max to be himself in a safe way and props to Max for being such a clever bird and handling his business without anyone getting hurt. Max was raised well and the fruits of all Dan’s labors are in how very well Max is maturing. Have a great Tuesday dearest. 💐🦜🍀🕊🙏🥰
