basic TLDR of Cruelty Squad: biotech has become so advanced that you can be easily revived from death even if you are blown into tiny pieces. As a result, human life is now utterly expendable. You play as a Death Squad soldier who was put out of business due to the fact that death no longer exists, and now you work for the Cruelty Squad, so named because assassination is now just a minor annoyance. Something something you destroy the world and remove the ability for people to resurrect. With the threat of death returned, life once more has value.

So by my estimate max0r covered about 30% of the lore and 10% of that was incorrect. Nothing bad on him, that is just how he does it. There is still a lot to experience for yourself if you choose to play. He didn't really cover the weapons or gunplay much which are top notch. The crazy exploding effect that happened sometimes and you asked about? That was just one of the like 50 weapons. Combine that with upgrades and the game is a blast. You just have to get past the graphics that were deliberately made to offend the senses. : )

Honestly the game is still worth playing cause it's legitimately fun. The guns and upgrades are cool, the mayhem you can cause is crazy, and the maps are legitimately good and let you approach them in many ways. Including out of bounds.

6:30 so true, I tried watching Evangelion, both... and I call bullshit that it's a good anime, the only good things about it were the intro song and their outro version of Fly Me to the Moon is peak, forgive me for saying this, but leagues better than Sinatra's rendition... I especially love that meme one on KZbin where someone added Patrick from Spongebob, on the quarter sea horse from that dream episode, rocking to it, it is BE *A* U TIFUL. Shinji is a whiny piece of crap, other anime/manga that I like with whiny bitch ass protagonists like Guilty Crown, Future Diary, Tokyo Ghoul, Gurren Lagann they eventually grow out of it... and become evil dictators, but they grow, and evolve, so that they can find their true self, they went on the journey from pussy, finding out that strength wasn't in their iron fist, but from within them all along. Especially as someone with a traumatic past, you want to watch those protagonists... Shinji just goes fucking in circles, I already do that because I'm a worried wart, why on earth would I want a protagonist of a show doing that? 1 it just makes you feel worse, that you won't escape your hell, 2... it's boring as hell, at 1st oh he needs his father's aproval, then oh he doesn't need it good for you Shinji... oh then he does again ooo k then? Oh but then he gets it, round of applause I guess? Oh but then he dissapoints him going against his orders jesus christ, oh then he doesn't need the- SHUT THE HELL UPPPPP PLEEEEASE!!! He doesn't grow, doesn't evolve as a character, and the other mind blowing shit has no other fricken impact has no relevance, and I don't care about it. I get it, analogue for the creator's depression but that shouldn't be the message, not at all, nothing it futile. Then the 2nd version of the series is even worse, for starters... yeah the jacking it to his comatose comrade. This story could've been told through any medium or any means, again those other anime I mentioned, that it has giant mechas and aliens named after Christian characters, poking each other's eyes out, yeah it's just eye candy and doesn't need to happen. On the other hand I'm not big on mecha anime, Guilty Crown and Code Geass are about it, but even then those anime could've worked without them just as fine. Evangelion fans treat it like this God send of anime, like Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, One Piece, Yugioh, or Pokemon, and yet it is probably one of the worst anime I've ever seen. No offense, if you like it, not stopping you, go enjoy it, just... not for me, I don't get the love behind it outside of those banger songs.

The easiest and most boiled down way to describe this game is its a colorful and weird hitman game with a biopunk upgrade system filled to the brim with commentary on capitalism and just the value we assign to money in general. That's it. Cutting out all of the jokes, poking fun, and comically spinning serious plot points or whatever other just "wait the game actually said that?!" moments that's what it is. And its a damn good one too, like its a legitimately good game, but its also not an easy game.

Just to clarify, Nux: yeah, the game is insanely ugly and does pretty much everything in its power to disgust you or overwhelm your senses. However, underneath all of that grime is a competently made and surprisingly challenging fps. If it weren’t for the majority of the music minus the apartment atrocity track, it’d definitely be one of my all time favorites.

Oh the mythical 4 season of Yugioh GX that I never watched because it wasn't dubbed. Not that I'm dubbed only I just loved and grew up on the dub, waking up on Saturdays to watch Pokemon, xiaolin showdown, Jackie Chan Adventures, all those cookie shows on 4 Kids, Kirby Right Back At ya... the um... One Piece we don't talk about lol, even back then, so bad even a child couldn't sit through, I just could not, and for decades I avoided One Piece because of it lol, why would I want to watch this goofy AF show about a rubber boy... oh child me, if only you knew and had either grown up in the future or another timeline. ... oh right Yugioh GX, well anyways, yeah never got around to watching season 4, simple as that, and my love to CHAZZ IT UP with Arnold Mammoth.
