Would you be up for sharing a video on how to configure for an aluminum rail saddle? I have figured out the carbon rail saddle but can’t get it working with my aluminum rail saddle. You can also just describe in the comments maybe? I’d really appreciate it! I’ve been looking all over for a tutorial on this seat post.

Yes I can... there is a different set of side clamps that came in the box with the seatpost. They are marked "carbon rail" and "alloy rail". If you bought your post second hand, you may not have gotten those. But they are readily available on eBay. If you can't find any just contact me, max@traxxion.com I have plenty I can sell cheap.

@@Traxxion Thank you! I did get it second hand and now that makes MUCH more sense. I would actually love to buy those aluminum rail clamps from you?? Let me know how that can happen if that's still an option!

Two questions: 1) Will this work with a Sirrus 4.0 or X 5.0? And 2) How does this compare to the redshift?

It will work on any bicycle with a 27.2mm seatpost. Note: There are 2 lengths, 350m and 400mm for larger frames bikes and riders. Check your post length before shopping. The Redshift would be overkill for indoor cycling in my opinion, but if you had one, it would definitely help. There are no "bumps" in indoor cycling, and so you certainly don't need the 35mm of travel of a Redshift for this application. Having said that, I use the CG-R on all of my hardtail MTBs.
