@@techmen-je4mo Russ is a good passer and scorer out of pick and roll.. AD is the greatest Lob threat of all time, and he can pick and pop. So AD is the perfect teammate for Russ. & LeBron will do the heavy lifting when it matters most, so essentially you're getting the great things that come with having a guy like Westbrook (Scoring, playmaking) and you're minimizing his flaws (Decision making).

I don’t think people understand how lethal the Lakers will be in transition. Like that was one of the things that got the Lakers past not having the best shooters/spacing in the title run. The half court offense was middle of the pack, but in transition they were a major problem. Adding Russ is only gonna amplify that. Schroeder, you think, would have done that, but he’s even more out of control than Russ has been known to be at times, just on a lower amount of attempts. But, I do think Russ has improved his decision making. Plus, the Lakers will have a top defense once again. Where Vogel deserves the most credit is on that end of the floor. Even as he had to shuffle line-ups, through injuries and anything else, the defense remains solid.

You don't know what option hes gonna be. Lebron might be on ball most of the time and Russ will be scoring Russ like he was in Houston when he went crazy before he got hurt. Or they may make Russ the main ballhandler and if that's the case he's gonna break the single season assist record and be third scoring option. It doesnt matter cuz he can do both. He's a two time scoring champ and three time assist champ. So don't act like you know what he's gonna do or needs to do cuz ur not a coach or a gm or an NBA player.
