Oddly enough, the player that he kinda reminds of is Westbrook. If you really look over the years, you will find it very difficult to find players who play with this kind of reckless abandonment. He literally goes 100mph, it seems, at all times and it's the reason he gets the dunks that he does. It's every ounce of strength on every attempt at the rim. Idk, only Westbrook comes to mind, even as I look back at classic players. Also, I would love to know if there is a stat for two handed in game dunks because that's not something you see that often at all and he has quite a few of them. Even more unique is that he's a one foot, two handed dunker. It's awkward, but more explosive and powerful. Very interesting player.

As a student of the game, a complete basketball nerd, it’s nice seeing that white dudes are getting better at dunking. Watch games from the 80s, 90s, 2000s. A majority of the white players were supremely unathletic compared to black players. Up until the modern era, I can’t think of anyone that got up like Brent Barry, and he played like 25 years ago. Now there’s a bunch of white dudes that are high flyers. Not just in the NBA, but competing in dunk circuits. I’m a white guy and started dunking at the age 13 in 1996. Can’t tell you how many times I heard “White men can’t jump” or “White boy has no hops”. And I could get my fricken elbows over the rim..

I still hate my weak ass, white chicken legs, LOL. I'm 6'3" and could hang on the rim and put a couple dunks in with a running start and no defenders in high school before blowing out my knee, but never could quite put down a dunk down in actual scrimmage or game time.

BTW, bud, I was 15 in 1996. I was friends with an upper classman who was a white guy who played D2 BBall in Colorado on a scholarship who was 6'5 who could slam it down like a beast. That SOB was the guy who introduced me to smoking. Black and Milds, go figure 😂

Kenyon Martin said that any shot blocker would ratther Ja Morant or prime Derrick Rose coming at them than this. The question was about Russel Westbrook but Braun is the same way. Cause Ja and D-Rose jump from 2 legs, Russ and Braun are coming full speed jumping of one leg of one leg with a knee up high sometimes. You don't want that coming at you.
