I am a Brit who has been living in SP for over 20 years now. You are right, there is so much to see and even after 20 years here, you find something new all the time and I don't even go out that much! It is a beautiful city with the best food from all different cultures and mostly wonderful and friendly people. It is now my home and I have never once been made to feel as an outsider. Of course there are negatives about a major city, but name me any massive city in the world and they will have the same problems too. You did go and see a lot of nice places, but I do hope you get to spend more time here if you ever visit again. Even if you don't like sports, you should go and watch a Football game, just not when they are playing a rival team. I am actually a member of the club Palmeiras which is one of the biggest and most successful teams in South America. Their fans are passionate as are all fans, but games can get dangerous when they play rivals, passion turns to violence sometimes. It is becoming expensive to buy food etc here these days and the cost of living is increasing every year, much more than the salaries of the workers. So people are currently struggling, which is why the price of just about anything is going up, especially for touristic things. But then all popular cities do that. It is nice that you enjoyed Sao Paulo, but you will get a lot of mixed comments here I am sure.

São Paulo é uma cidade onde se agrega todos os povos brasileiros, comidas típicas de todo Brasil, pessoas de todos os estados brasileiros, muitos imigrantes estrangeiros, São Paulo é bom demais 😀

Sao Paulo has so many things to do and places to see that you really need more than two days to get a sense of what this city, so full of surprises, has to offer.

fun fact about the japanese neighborhood in brazil (from a brazilian japanese) you dont see japanese people working on the stores anymore(15 years ago it was mostly japanese attendants), the asians that sometimes work on shops are chinese, but almost 90% of the neighborhood is owned by the ikesaki family, they had a cosmetic store that got HUGE and started buying all the residences around it, built all the shops and rented to japanese friends through the years the neighborhood got famous by the japanese restaurants (and the street food) and was designed as a commercial zone so in fact, most of the neighborhood is owned by a japanese family, most of the shops in the area are rented by asians, but almost all the workforce there are brazilian people (the owners dont work on the frontline anymore due to security reasons)
