Maxcatch $76 2wt flyrod combo unboxing and field test

My ultralight fishing journey has expanded once again. I`ve recently gotten hooked on fly fishing and saw this Maxcatch 6 ft 6 4 piece 2 weight combo online for $76. I figured it was worth a shot especially with all the extras it comes with, the rod and reel, a case, line, backing, flies, flybox, ball cap, nippers, pliers, face gaitor, and some tapered leaders. Honestly I wasn`t expecting it to be very good at all but holy jeebus, this thing is amazing! It casts extremely smooth and effortlessly. It`s a soft action ultralight rod that bends like crazy even on bluegills but handles some micro bass with ease.
I`ve only had it a few days so the longevity has yet to be determined but so far I absolutely love it.

Overall its a great deal and a cheap way to try something new and get your feet wet with fly fishing. It`s super fun. Trust me on that. lol

Dude. Its so much fun it should be illegal lol. For 76 bux its a great deal and a great beater combo to keep in the car for when emergency fishing spots pop up.
