7:15, to make that process more faster, just select the text (not the layer) and go to select > modify > contract > and add how much pixels you want, press ok and delete.

2 Tips for you: - First: Delete things with a layer mask. Non destructive working is key Second: When you add the stroke to your headline @7:25 you don't need to raster and delete this (This part triggered me to write the comment (: ) Just add the stroke and then on the layer put down the transparency on the "Fill" Keep it up!

Fabitalism Usually I convert the type to a shape and add the stroke that way, its actually a lot better as you get sharp corners - however this type for some reason doesn’t allow you to do that. Also I am adding noise to the text anyway so realistically rasterising is what I am about to do anyway

@@maxchadwiick with my second type its way more faster and non destructive, so you can change is at any time and change the stroke weight. For the noise is also a tip: Add a 50% black (grey) and add noise on it - the set the layer style on overlay

Unless you’re selling the design, licences mean nothing. If I was to sell this design, yes, I would need to obtain the correct usage, however the image could be royalty free, in which case the image is free to use personal/commercial.
