This is a completely different level of visual genius. Look what the human mind is capable of. To even be able to piece all of this work together the way they have is insane. Brilliant. I am mesmerized.

Just missed the chat - but wow, this is something else. Coming from an environmental sciences background, this way of looking at land use change isn't too foreign to me, but seeing it like this drives home the point that even in industrialism, there is beauty. These particular human infrastructures will probably be inprofitable and abandoned in one or two hundred years at the most, but I can see how someone who hasn't learnt to see the destruction can see the beauty in it. I would pay to view a less-compressed version of this.

@@fuglsnef It doesn't seem to be, but then again, it's only just premiered here. Thanks for the tip though! I was indeed thinking about the compression artefacts in the very fast paced sections. @derek wats I just had a look at the trailer, great photography; maybe I'll even get around to watching it.

Having studied a degree in Building Arts, and with experience of design and draughting of plans, and having qualification in Permaculture, and an interest in the design of sustainable, Earth respecting, settlements, I thought, when watching this, that I was in an edgy, tension filled nightmare. But it is a brilliant and thought provoking work.
