When Maxene define what love is "It is accepting everything, not judging others, looking at them with compassion, being kind to the unkind." I got goosepumps and teary eyed because it feels like God is speaking through her. Recently that's what I've been struggling "Being kind to the unkind" because they are the ones who needs kindness the most. #BeLove

Dinidiminish nya yung mga nararamdaman ng iba at may pasabi sabi pang "baka nga di pa naddiagnose mga yan" to show his hostile behavior. Im not diagnosing but Im just stating what I observe,he is showing characteristics of Narcissistic person. Sana may magawa kayo, delekado buhay ng mga binabastos ng taong yun. A lot of people in their early 30s can and will relate to Maxene's journey. I think our generation has a common problem - we were all raised by parents who inflict trauma, knowingly or unknowingly. Let's break the cycle and be better parents to the next generation.... and it all starts with healing ourselves first.

This Tonitalks affected me so much. It's true that when we are at our 20s onwards, we lost at some point in our lives & gain our sanity towards the beginning of our 30s & beyond perhaps not applicable to everyone. I smoked cigarette when I was 18 back in my college days in Baguio, alcohol abuse, poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle habits up until when the pandemic hit the world in 2019 when I was 28. I was one of the first few people in the hospital I was working with here in Japan diagnosed to have covid-19, I was quarantined for 26 days, no alcohol, no smoking, healthy foods being served. During the first few months of the pandemic, everybody was just so afraid that is why I felt like I was in a jail inside the quarantine facility. When I was discharged from the hospital that is the time I realized a lot of things including the abuses I did to my body for the past 10 years of my life. At present, I have lived my life in a very healthy way over the past 2 years, I lose a lot of weight, I enrolled to the gym, I chose a healthy balanced diet, became so physically fit & active & now I became a fitness enthusiast to people who also wants to achieve their fitness goals in life. At this point in my life @30, I am still searching for the reasons of my existence, my purpose in life, some of them perhaps I knew it already but most of them I know that God has prepared & redirected me to the right path. Maybe, I have to go through those tough times in order to be a stronger & braver adult.

This episode speaks so well to my inner core. What a great reminder for people who might be going through mental health battles that there's a way out of this, through the right treatment, with and through God. I'm not clinically diagnosed but I've been experiencing these symptoms for years now. And what really bothers me the most, is how I'm unable to control my emotions, esp my anger. Whenever I'm mad, I always want to let it out loud which leads me to say hurtful words. What's even worst is that before saying those hurtful words, I feel (I know) the Holy Spirit has been tapping me and speaking to me to not say those hurtful words, and yet I always end up saying so. After that, I start to pray for it to calm myself, and hours after I'd come up to apologize. And the cycle kept on repeat. I really hope to get the right treatment.

Toni should come up with another show where she sits with a psychologist or a therapist ( as guest) and ask them questions ( questions from people who are currently undergoing mental health problems like in the movie "All you need is Pag- ibing" where that TV host gets question from audience and addresses it to the viewers and shares her thought- answers) I think this will be a great help because there are so many people who are silently undergoing mental health issues , afraid that the family wouldn't understand their condition and many are in their dark phase. This will be a good initiative to bring the issue on the table and convey that mental health problems can be cured and that they are not alone in this. Toni is a great host. She doesn't just interviews the guest, she let's them speak from their heart and I think that's very important and only few host can do that ( that's a talent from God). This is the 6th talk show I've watched( btw I'm a new subscriber, Ik what was I doing before ,literally this talk show is Outstanding! ) and I really hope we get English subtitles for the previous talk shows as well. 😇😇😇

The trauma I got for not believing in marriage and happy ending starts when my father and mother separated many years ago. It got me trust issues, that makes me a toxic person when I'm in a relationship. But it also bring me closer to God, and learning to trust Him again that everything comes from a reason 🥰💖

Don't let anyone put you down when you talk about your mental and emotional health. It is a natural need of a human being kasi di naman all the time ay ok tayo. Walang wla ka talagang dapat ikahiya. Ang dapat mahiya ay yung mga taong hanggang ngayon iba pa rin ang tingin or templa pag napag uusapan ang therapy, psychologist or psychiatrist. Everybody needs help and there is nothing wrong in asking one. May you find your light, may you learn from your struggles and enjoy your journey to healing. ❤

To Maxene Magalona: Since you talked about your behavior when you were in Boracay, I remembered seeing you there throwing cigarette butt in the beach of Boracay. Naiinis pa nga ako syo. Sabi ko napaka irresponsible since isa kang celebrity. Many people could see you. Sabi ko hindi good example sa mga tao. I didn’t know you were going through difficulties pala. My favorite line from this vid is 19:37 "I used to think of healing as something that I was doing from a place of shame and brokenness. But you know what, we were never broken to begin with. Healing is actually remembering who you really are. Taking away the layers, shadows, distractions, veil of ignorance. Healing is also remembering your soul. Going back to your soul and meeting yourself again"

dati pang may mental health problems ka isipin nila may sapak ka na. real talk lang , isa ako sa mga nakaranas nyan and and discrimination grabe, imagine im suffering with general anxiety dissorder and depression that time tapos maririnig ko pa un mismo sa nanay ko . anak matalino ka nga baka mabaliw ka naman , umiyak ako kasi that time sobrang emotional ko iyak ako ng iyak wala ako sa control e, sa mga nakakaranas naiintindihan nila to , tho un nag aral ako inalam ko bakit nangayari un and pinaka unang hahanapin talaga what causes it bakit nangyari anong nakakatrigger ? and ayun it boils down to one certain thing side effect from antihistamine . that time kasi e inaalergy ako ng hives so di na tumatalab ung una ko antihistamine so nag pa check ako 4 days palang ininom ung nireseta sakin ayun na iba na pakiramdam ko hilo nako nasusuka ung dibdib ko kumakabog ng sobra , and wala akong idea sa nangyayari akala ko mainit lang . pag gising ko nag kaka panic attack nako parang hinahatake ka sa puso . but days past by it's getting worst dahil nagka insomia nako and di na lang anxiety at panic attack naging depression na kagising ko wala nako gana sa lahat ng bagay even paliligo ko nanginginig ako , nag tatae din ako den tumagal biglang nadagdagan pa every panic attack ko may nosebleed na kasabay tapos pag tulog ko swerte ako kung 3hrs na achieved ko . given na every tulog ko bad dreams lahat and with panic attack , inaral ko ang box breathing inaral ko ang mga natural methods to tackle anxiety nag aral ako ng meditation exercise then ung mga food na iiwasan , tapos di ako makakain ginagawa ko lunok lang ako ng lunok kain ng sagin kain foods rich sa magnesium , grabe nginig at takot ko tipong me kumalabog lang triggered ako , may dumaan lang sa labas namin na sasakyan nagugulat ako di ako makalabas ng bahay sa takot. "PERO ITO ANG PINAKA IMPORTANTENG PART " nung di ko na talaga kaya nanonood ako ng online mass , manaog radio to be exact sa fb nila , and nag post ako ako sa comment section sabi ko God tulungan mo ko di ko na kaya. that's the exact word na sinabi ko and pag nakakaramdam tayo nyan alam niyo ung connection sakanya sobrang lapit ni God lalo pag ginagamit ang puso. sa sobrang nginig ko pati salita ko utal utal na kakain ako tapon tapon ang kanin sa sobrang nginig ng kamay ko. so moving on ka chat ko ng ganon bigla me tumulong sakin na tao. which i never met him until now , hindi ko pa din nakita ang mukha nya , he suffered anxiety and depression too kaya bigla tinawagan ako ng tao , tapos pinag pray sinermonan ng bible words , ilang months ko dinadala tapos biglang parang me humugot sa lahat ng pain ko , that time bigla nalang nawala panic attack ko and last iyak ko na yun biglang pag nosebleed ko nawala dn , depression nawala din bilang puro pa thank you ako i claimed my healing , grabe in one snap nawala lahat ? kung anxiety lang kayang kaya ko na to kako., and so tinuloy ko routines ko i study more and tinignan ko ang mga food na nakakatulog i drink turmeric tea natural anti depressant event my allergies na malala buong katawan nawala. ang galing then ung mga tension sa ulo nawala ung hilo ung blurry vision , ung tension sa likod ung GERD nawala din kasi un isagn pahirap sakin nun bara sa lalamunan umaga palang nag duduwal nako grabe bload ko tambol tyan ko. pero nawala paisa isa nawawala untill bigla ako nakalabas , tapos pamilya ko nagulat sa kwento ko nagulat sila sa pag babago ko at bigla nakabalik. unang labas ko drive ng kotche ko , sinamahan ako ng tatay ko sa lto ginagabayan ako proffesional driver si papa and maingat ako pero shempre nakita niya mga pinagdaanan ko , kaya todo gabay sakin then un na pa renew ko ung licensiya ko na sobrang saya ko and dun na nag start ang sunod sunod na tinatry ko ung mga di ko nagagawa . until naging normal nako . guys wag kayo mawalan ng pag asa wag maniniwala na pang habang buhay ang sakit na yan , THE KEY IS DISCIPLINE DEDICATION AND DECIDE NOW papanong decide now ? ang cure ay nasainyo pa din kung papalitan niyo ang routines niyo , be consistent exercise meditation breathing sobrang nakakatulong ng mga yan ang ung mga bawal na pag kain iwasan niyo , hydrate niyo sarili niyo , HEALTHY LIFESTYLE talaga at pinaka importante GRATITUDE PRAYER. and ung connection kay God prayer galing sa puso hindi puro utak lang pag si God ang nag control talagang tapos ang problema niyo do your best and God will do the rest. stop na pag rereklamo just execute ganon ginawa ko nun at ngayon sobrang normal na . sa nakakabasa neto alam ko pinapray mo na gumaling kana eto na un ung hinihiling mo , kailangan mo nalang talaga baguhin ang routines mo at execute ang pag babago . kaya yan madami gumagaling dyan trust the process. Hi! I’m so glad I read your comment.. I’m having anxiety myself these past couple of weeks. Nag research ako when you said something about anti histamine.. and I realized that’s probably what’s triggering the anxiety. I’ve started taking these meds for post Covid cough and that’s when the anxiety started. And it gets worse every time I take them. anyways, it’s a relief to know what’s causing it. Now I know what avoid and to stop taking them na.. maraming salamat.. I feel much better.. btw, how did you find out it’s the anti histamine? Also, I do read that meron one person that helped you too.. yung nag pray over sa yo. And that’s really great that you found that person. I’m happy that you’re doing much better. Sana ako din soon🙏

Ms. Toni, thank you for having Ms. Maxene on "Toni Talks." I learned a lot from her; I'm not sure why my tears kept falling as I listened to Ms. Maxene Magalona talk about how God spoke to her while she was meditating; I'm not sure if it was energy or realization that I haven't found my purpose here on earth. I also agree with her when she says that the more we listen to our ego, the more negative energy we attract. All we want is indeed assurance that everything is under control. Every time I pray, I tell God that I want to surrender everything to Him, but I don't even know what that means because I always listen to my ego. Now I want to concentrate on self-improvement and striving to be a truly good person. I am truly grateful that these two strong and intelligent women discuss the importance of mental health.
