Nice, Sasha. Both great pedals. As your earlier video with the "big brothers" showed, they work great together. I currently prefer the Duellist in front of the Gladio. I think you got a hint of why that might be after you swapped the pedal order toward the end of the video.

To me, the Gladio has that girth in the low end I love for my single coils. I bet the Soloist is better for humbuckers. But I need the Gladio!!! It is just what I have been dreaming of creating. Damn! Too late !

Should I buy and replace my original gladio dual channel with this SC. I love the clean knob works with the neck pups.

I’m a huuuuge fan of the clean knob on drive pedals. Have one on my JHS Moonshine, makes it like 3 pedals in one. You will find so many tones. The Gladio SC seems to be able to from a clean Steel String Dumble to an OD Special Dumble. Amazing, need one! Or two!

@@mariano2961 Channel 1 of the duelist it’s based on a tube screamer. I think the soloist is that first channel as well

@@mariano2961 Yeah the soloist is a modified tube screamer. The Gladio SC is a different beast altogether, not at all screamer like (but totally killer for more amp-like overdrive tones). Personally I really like running a tube-screamer type pedal in front of an amp-like pedal. It's an awesome combo

Would love to hear you compare these to the Vertex SSS

I've played all three and got the Vertex SSS....it provided a balance the others couldn't get. I thought all 3 pedals paired well with other pedals like the Boss BD-2 and JHS Bonsai. For pure Stevie Ray Vaughan emulation, the Duellist was the best over all I tried.....but your choices of changing dynamics are a bit diminished because of redundancy......think of it as "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Variables like the guitar, pickups and amp are also huge variables to take into serious consideration.
