It is funny that they made a G-mecha unit into the game. This thing was a dark history that I a lot of people want to forget.

What's the history of the G-mecha? I've never heard of it til this video, and I can't find much info on it.

@@notsohandyandy In the initial airing of gundam 0079. The rating is quite low. In order to save the rating (and sell more toys for profit), it was forced to introduce the G-mecha parts to gundam anime (to sell more toys). The concept is super disliked by the gundam producer because G-mecha is too cartoon which does not match with gundam serious war tone.

​@@waisinchan2734 a late reply, but to say they all disliked it is untrue as was the statement that it couldn't be usefull or fit in a real war tone (a joke is made about this in the 0083 manga). I even argued we are starting to see tech similar to it be applied in today army. Heck sunrise must have had alot of fondness for it as while the Core Booster was ment to replace it, both ended up existing as the show takes priority over the movies and both have been seen together in many of the manga as well as different vers of the GArmor like the troop transport version.
