Because I could find 1 million video's of cats and 0 of the harness removal: here's my contribution to the world. Every picture is 5 sec, so you can easily pause whenever you need. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the instructions Zoltan! We have the 'Two Way' Edition, which is very similar to yours, but can be tilted. Removing the strap seems to be more difficult with our edition, it was very time consuming, and re-inserting was even worse. And - of course this was the moment when we realized that there was an error with the stap, and we had to remove it again . During the second extraction we damaged the original threading of the overlap/loop to the point that it opened. This made removal and re-insertion much much easier, and we just had it to sew it back together (just the overlap). I think this is the better solution. So in short: for the next guy, if you have troubles removing the strap open the threads in the overlap, and sew it back together when you are finished. The overlap/loop has no relevancy to the safety, it's just to prevent accidental removal of the strap.

Thank you very much for your video with the very detailed instructions and photos. We couldn't have done the disassemble and the assemble back again without your instructions.

Thanks for this, helped a great deal following an unfortunate vomit incident. Had some problems pulling the strap out even after sewing it so skipped it and just dumped the whole thing with the buckle mechanism in a pale with water and bleach. might not be ideal, but got the job done. Also - awesome unicorn

Thanks for the video. I had to unpick the thread on that central pull strap to get it out, right pain in the bum, then just sewed it back up after. No doubt my kid will be sick again...🤣😭

Well done, however, I think the easiest way to take the strap out is the cut the single thread and unfold it. It can then be sewed up again. It looks like that was how it was assembled, because the lock has only sufficient space for the unfolded strap. From what I learned, you may damage the strap threads, if the screwdriver does not have enough width and should not be sharp, it may cut it. So, definitely recommend carefully cutting that thread holding the fold, and sewing it back.
