As a AR60 player, i still wish Mihoyo created a simple training dummy to hit, either in a seperate domain , or in our teapot. I mean Masanori works, but i just want an immovable object to test my combos on, instead of chasing someone or having to restart a domain or abyss everytime

Such a fun character. He does have optimized rotations and combos, but he's forgiving enough that messing up his rotation still feels ok. He isn't incapacitated by not having his burst since he can still generate mirrors with his E and CA. Cyno was the character I was expecting the most out of Sumeru, but Alhaitham stole the show.

I do that with Childe but not as much with Alhaitham, maybe because I run him with interrupt resist (Xingqiu) so the combos are reliable enough

Just a simple tip I'd like to share. If you are struggling to figure out when to refresh mirrors, simply do so after every 2 projection attacks as it is not possible to get 3 projection attacks of the current stack level with a fresh stack. Edit: Reworded for clarification.

except unlike childe, his playstyle is more forgiving, which is a major plus. if you mess up childe's rotations, you have no choice but to wait it out. if you mess up alhaitham's rotations, you can still adapt and have a successful slightly modified rotation.

Did you guys know you can plunge attack with Alhaitham and gain 3 mirrors without pointing your E to the sky and therefore wasting the initial hit damage? He does a slight elevation whenever he teleports (unlike Keqing who stays on the same altitude the stiletto is) so even if you deadass target your E on the ground, you can still do a plunge.

I just learned this recently but masonori has a lot more hp at 2am (don’t remember if it was 12-2 or 2-4) and you also have 5 minutes to beat him. Though masonori has the annoying blocking mechanic so they really should make a proper training dummy

Sevy being a filipino and looking out for people with low ping because that is the filipino reality. The pain of swapping then casting burst on another character only for the ping to 'accidentally' burst on the current character then swapped out immediately consuming the burst and energy without dealing the damage is very painful. I love that the mirrors and how you obtain them keeps you thinking about how you want to summon them and balance his NAs and Ult usage. Very fitting gameplay concept for his character. Using him C0 with Haran at the moment for my Hyperbloom and Spread teams and I absolutely love him. *Pull off 6 consecutive instances of rain blades with him. You don’t need to count seconds. Just look for visual clues. Here’s how to maintain 3 mirrors:* 1. Cast Burst (Q) with zero mirrors. He’ll get a refund of 3 mirrors. 2. Do normal attacks (no charged attacks), and procc 2 instances of rain blades. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, cast his Skill (E) to maintain 3 mirrors. 3. Do normal attacks again (no charged attacks) and procc 2 more instances of rain blades. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, now you can do a charged attack to maintain 3 mirrors. 4. Do normal attacks to procc another 2 instances of rain blades. That’s a total of 6 consecutive rain blades. And then you can just spam his infused attacks until his mirrors run out or you can switch out to your other characters. It takes practice and familiarity to do this. So be patient. But once you nail this, the satisfaction is so awesome!! 🤘

If you ever wanted to quick swap into him for his burst this is the combo I use. Fast Hold E and lift ever so slightly( about headshot height) to trigger plunge - Q Not great for energy but sometimes you just need to pop things for as much damage as you can.

I noticed something after using him for a while, when he uses his skill an Arabic letter appears, which is his first letter in his name, the letter (هاء) is equivalent to (H) in English. Here I thought the quickswap trick was a bug that allowed you to use BURST with mirrors, then quick swap to still get 3 mirrors... if you're a casual player then I suggest just do the most optimal combo Q > AA until 2 mirrors left > E > AA until 2 mirrors left > CA > AA until you feel like swapping

Regarding Al-Haitham's Charged Attack ICD It's actually a special ICD without a hit rule, and with a time rule of 2s So Al-Haitham's CA can only apply Dendro/Spread every 2s

Ngl his gameplay is so fun. Personally i love do many experiments on various characters. I use zhongli-raiden-alhaitam-dendro traveler for spread reaction. I rarely use their burst (except for traveler to generate em bonus when the active character standing on the burst area) because the enemies are already dead before i use the burst in 1 or 2 rotation

Here I am watching this so I can figure out how to use Al during the Vibro crystal event, didnt understand much as I went straight to the combos without understanding his kit. So I decided to go unga bunga and spam without thinking much in a hyperbloom team. I'm genuinely shocked at how fast he destroyed the enemies, all I saw was a bunch of green numbers on my screen and dead enemies a second later. Very nice.

I think of one way to counter the ping issue when swapping Alhaitham after doing his burst as follows: 1. Use his charged attack 2. Use his burst 3. Swap out, use another character and swap back 4. Use his E and starts hitting till next rotation The thought behind this is that Alhaitham's burst with 1 mirror generated from his passive will be a little bit longer compared to one with no mirror, ensuring enough time for you to swap back even if the ping is high

personally, i would use his CA first before hitting his burst to squeeze out more damage from his burst then his E to simultaneously get rid of his 2 seconds delay of his infusion. method 3 seems abit obsolete if not so. what i find funny was alot of people overestimate his 18 secs CD on his skill when optimally you want to have him for 12s (which is a total uptime of his 3 stacks infusion) then rotate your team that usually takes 6-8 seconds. what i find really statisfying about his gameplay, he could be a dendro tartaglia or even a dendro ayaka if played with keqing as an upgrade of Dendro MC as a support burst dps. you should make a video with details about his various playstyle for every level of players who wants to master him. that alone needs a video on its own

I like Alhaitham's trial, while im still building mine. I'm so used to how Keqing's kit works that the timing of the mirrors plus the extended CD makes things difficult for me. All in all a good character, just tricky if you're used to the Yuheng Queen.

Idk but if your alhaitham doesn't have an ideal stats yet and sometimes your burst isn't up in the end of the rotation, sometimes i do the usual with the rest of my team (like pop electro, spread, and zhongli shield) and then instead of burst i usually use skill hold, generates 2, and than plunge which gives me 1 more, and then just do NA untill the mirrors are gone, and then back to the usual rotation

A few questions: 1. How many secs after his burst, or E (for non burst rotations) goes on CD should I insert a CA or E to refresh a mirror? I look at the skill CD timers bec they're easier to see amidst all the reaction VFX. 2. Most recommended NA combo string for mobile players who can't really dash cancel as easily (due to needing to take their thumb off the NA button and moving it to the dash button)? 3. I thought all hope for dual carry Haitham w/ on-field burst Raiden was lost when I heard about his nerf from the beta but since it seems that Quickswap DPS Haitham is still possible, how would a rotation for that look like? I'm guessing Raiden E > Support > Support > Haitham E-N1C-Q > Raiden Q things > repeat? I know this kind of playstyle isn't as recommended as his sustained DPS one, but my teams can already 36* abyss easily and I'd like to play a Dendro team where Raiden isn't just an E skill bot (without it feeling like a major downgrade). Thanks for this guide btw! I was looking for proper guides to learn his combos from and this delivered as if on cue. As a fan of Tartaglia's playstyle, I'm glad Haitham has room for this kind of skill expression as well. Those muscles definitely aren't for show, lore or meta-wise lol

Hi! 1. About 7-8s after the Q, or 4-ish s after the E sounds about right. 2. If you can't dash or jump cancel, I think something like N5 > N2 might work? Not sure, see if it lines up with you. 3. That looks about right. I personally do an E > PA > N3C > Q. The plunge is to look cool and the N3C is to get in some extra Spreads and proc one more instance of Lvl 3 Projection Attack before Q. Hope this helps!

I still sometimes confuse with the rotation, like who should come first. I play Alhaitham, Yaoyao, Xq, Fischl. Any help?

at 1st, i thought he is dendro keqing but after obtaining him, i think his play style is like childe that you really need to play optimally to be good at it.
