Thanks for video Some notes... 1. Work speed affects egg frequency when breeding. Good idea to give your breeding pals work speed passives like remarkable craftsmanship, artisan, work slave and such, and also set the base's work mode to brutal. Breeding pals do not lose sanity or become hungry. Philanthropist with work speed passives is very very very fast. Make any non-dark pals have also nocturnal or vampiric so they work thru the night. 2. Predator locations are the same always on the map with random chance to appear, so if they do not appear, you only need to move away and come back repeatedly until they do.

I was unaware work speed affects breeding, I’ve seen it posted a few times, but never tested it or seen facts for it. I’ll need to do some testing to get numbers laid out. And I thought I was done mass breeding for videos…. 😂I did know about the brutal Setting though. Guess I am about to make a breeding guide video, got to get all the facts and numbers straightened out first though. For predator pals: I just keep Leaving render distance and re appearing at their spawn points and I just had bad luck. Like the relaxasaurus took me around 15 minutes to spawn in and I knew they were there. But then ragnahawk appeared the first time I showed up.. it’s inconsistent, but very welcome when they do show up. This comment is golden. I have a yakumo pair male/female philanthropist/remarkable/artisans and I swear they max drop eggs every 20 min with my base on normal efficiency lol.

Funny experiment to try maybe... maximum work speed passives, brutal work mode, and also maximum work speed soul investment from the power statue and see how quickly you reach max eggs? Are they made too quickly to hatch manually even with 0 hatch time, not using the new electric hatchery? hehehe

When I mass "disassemble" a bunch of anubis I have one in my party and out and he transports like drops to a chest nerby kinda messed up when I think about it 😅

i got lucky with this update. my main base ended up being right beside the loupmoon cryst spawn. I have hundreds of predator cores idk what to do with, and have had more than enough giant pal souls to max out my party + best base pals. might be a good idea to try and set up a base nearby one of the spawns if you can help it. you get easy predator cores and giant souls without going out of your way or doing annoying spawn manipulations.

Honestly I more made this for others to follow, I am not nearly as “competitive” or min/max as I used to. I can’t be, being a dad and little time lol. I have mainly been casually using the expeditions, and predator pals as I hunt down each one for personal completion sake. However, I know a lot of people like wanting an easy way to do things in little to no time, so I figured I would do some research and figure it out lol. I have been looking for good base locations and was considering making a video on it. I’ll definitely check out that spot you mentioned. Thanks for sharing that 😀

it seems like I can see the pal souls everywhere in Feybreak ... with a fast flying mount like Jetragon and taking some time to disable the turrets, it could be an alternative to hunting, especially when default night time is only like 5 minutes ... I wonder if that's would be more efficient?

That’s what I tried when I first started on Feybreak. I hopped on fenglope and ran around the entire border of the island. I hit a few points where I had to ascend with the grapple, but it was a great little source. However after about an hour of running around, it didn’t feel like my time was well spent, since that’s all I was actively doing. Plus I didn’t see me needing to make additional laps in the future once I completed uncovering all the island. It’s definitely a great source. If you happen to be in the area and see a soul, there’s no point not to grab it. But I didn’t see it out weighing the other methods. However, for those that don’t like all the hostility towards there pals, then it’s great way to gather some 😀

Great guide for new players! I'd add that in the early game, Nox is a Pal that drops Small Pal Souls, although like Cawgnito and Daedream, the drop rate is bad. You can also breed loads of Nox and put them through the Pal Dissassembly Conveyor when you unlock and build that. Nox is most common inside early game caves (in the Mossanda Forest area if my memory serves) My preferred methods are breeding Wixen Noct for Medium Souls at the same as I'm repeatedly defeating Predator Pals on Feybreak. They give 8 Giant Pal Souls each every time you defeat one. I'm pretty sure all Predator Pals drop Giant Souls regardless of level, though I haven't tested it myself. Finally, it's EL-fid-DRAN and HELL-ZEFFER.

I really appreciate that 😀 Yeah I figured those were the 2 I would mess up their names lol 😂 that’s why I put that disclaimer/question at the start cause I knew someone would correct me and tell me the right way to say it lol. I appreciate the breakdown for the names. Yeah all predator pals drop giant souls regardless of level. On boosted rates predator pals give 50+ giant souls which is equal to 100 eggs or 3 hours of breeding at 1 pen. So definitely worth it if you have the resources to battle them and can get consistent spawns. I like just blowing wixen up with nitemary since you get around 50-100 medium souls with each rocket or group of wixen on boosted rates. yeah I tried nox to, and it seemed to slightly drop more souls than daedream, but they are less common, mainly in caves like you said 😀

The skill book drops and bones which can be used for cement, which is used for lots of spheres make it hard to argue any other pal Is better for breeding for souls. I ran out of engram points with all the new engrams that came out, but after making this video I had nearly 100 skill books, so I got 200+ skill points, I have everting unlocked now. Anubis is even helpful in the afterlife 😂

Yeah I believe direhowl and nitewing is the earliest combination. Those 2 breed ray hound, then ray hound with nitewing make Anubis 😀

I have 2 breeding pens with just wixen nocts as they always drop medium ones guaranteed. And mass hatch them mass butcher. You can use the medium to convert to bigger ones too. So is all you need.

Yeah wixen Noct are great and by default stay up all night, so they are pretty easy to set up 😀

Splatterinas partner skill only works when they're in your party, and they stack so you need 4 of them maxed out to see any chance for extra loot. (60% with 4 maxed out)

I didn’t max her out, only got her to 2 stars. That’s rough needing to be fully condensed to see a huge change. Nitemary I saw th change right away, and then at 4 stars the drops were huge. Could you explain the stack please? Someone else mentioned the same thing. So you have to use the cleaver, and let’s say you butcher Anubis. He usually gives 1 soul on normal rates, so how many would you get from 1 butcher? I may have to make a follow up video to point out that correction.

@@ChaosBearGaming So basically, each Splatterina adds 10-15% chance of additional loot when butchering with a cleaver, 10% is no condensing, 15% is maxed condensed. So by having 4 Splatterinas in you party, minimally your chances of getting an extra soul from butchering Anubis is 40% with a maximum chance of 60% for an extra soul.

Sakurajima dungeons, wixen noct, just run from one end of the dungeon to the other back and forth, kill any wixen and bushi, for as long as you want.

Yeah that’s true, they have infinite spawns so long as you re render and re render the area. That’s a great call out.

Screw this. Breed Anubis and butcher. You'll want a ton for your base anyway. Philanthropist and vampiric or nocturnal

Anubis is great, and the most consistent way for sure, but I’ve done quite a bit of research and not everyone likes mass breeding or likes butchering their pals. Also with the introduction of giant souls, souls are even more sought after than they used to be. With that being said, I wanted to test all avenues for how to do farm souls so regardless of your playstyle there was an option for you 😀

@ChaosBearGaming Pokémon with guns. The new level 60 egg hatchers are amazing, People should get a sense of the time matched up. I did see you cover it but I stand by... the amount you need for end boss raid worthy... Anubis and passive farm it in the back. Run a base with at least 4 or 5 pens constantly going. And to save people some time Paladius and Soot/Frost and I forget what... but get your Jignis absolute frost/double blizzard :).

@rincerta Philanthropist occurs naturally. Get Dr brawn and go vampiric or better breed a ton of Yakumo until they get vampiric etc. I max stat everything etc, so probably a bit more patient but seriously for the new skills I'd say you're gonna breed a ton anyway or have serious annoyance on chains. Legends I'd just breed heavily until you're bored enough to use a yakumo to get the skills lol.

Yeah just make sure nitemary is out when hunting them and make sure nitemary doesn’t die, then the rampaging pals drop additional hint souls 😀

Hmmm Predator Bushi’s at new location.. with Nightmarry Around 100 Giant souls Easy to replicate, leave and come back.. Max pal with 2 runs, way better than wasting cakes with Anubis

Yeah on maxed rates the predator drops with nitemary are crazy. Like in the video, 1 rocket gave 50+ giant souls, or 100 large souls. That’s 100 eggs or nearly 3 Hours of breeding in 1 pen. I just know not everyone plays on max rates. Otherwise it’s a great option 😀

I manually tried butchering about 3 dozen Anubis, 2 dozen nitemary and about 2 dozen wixen Noct . I saw no gains in souls dropped. I tried both the automated process and the clever. I also tried with splatterina in my party and in my base and saw no changes. However for Anubis for example, I saw a huge increase in total bones dropped. But I never saw my totals souls drop Change like I did with nitemary when farming souls in the wild. Not sure how you are seeing more souls. I spent all week testing this lol. I wish it worked, I feel like that’s her whole purpose 😂

so you can breed anubis at level 19 ....just mass breed them for large butcher them and crush them souls down to mid and small....farming small mid and large by killing is just a huge waste of time.

You can breed them before by breeding nitewing wirh direhowl, which makes Ray hound them hound with nitewing make Anubis 😀 unless you meant 19 because that’s when you unlock the breeding farm, which would make since too lol. Yeah breeding is definitely the best passive way to get them, but I know not everyone likes to butcher their pals or mass breed so I wanted to put some options out there 😀 I appreciate you taking the time to leave you thoughts and feedback, it’s appreciated.
