I look for nice places to just relax. I made the mistake my last trip to Japan of doing too much much...I had a lot planned one day but was forced to just find a cafe and relax. Honestly, it was a great day.

Great tips. I think I did all of them on our visit over the last few weeks except we were there in golden week. I can’t express strongly enough how convenient the IC card is, it’s a must. Just to add, we had to go through Narita airport but took the train to Narita town the day before and had a really good time in this town which is lovely. Then a shirt 15minute taxi to the airport for our early flight home. A wonderful country and I can’t wait to get back there

Hello Nao... What is the train pass from osaka to nagoya instead of Shinkansen one way ticket . Thank you

You wanna go to Nagoya not by Shinkansen...? If so, maybe you can use the bus👌 You can also go there using the local train but it takes so much time..😱 Thank you for watching😎

ありがとうございます😊 Ive planned mid to end of March, and most days are in Tokyo. Sadly I cant seem to get anyone to go with me so I will be traveling solo. Any tips for solo travelers in Tokyo? 😂 Tokyo seems like its more of a city you enjoy with other people so I am worried... I was in Osaka last year and did tour groups but its a hit or miss with the kind of people in the group.
@JapanwithNao8 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! We are making a video for a solo traveler in Japan but we are not sure when it will be published yet😂 I think it's a good idea to go to cities like Hiroshima or Kyoto, where many tourist spots rather than activity spots👌 or maybe take part in some classes? like Japanese cooking classes for tourists, etc? I also did a solo trip and felt loneliness a bit...haha Have fun anyway 😉

I solo traveled in Tokyo this year and planned my days around restaurants and bars I wanted to visit, and planned + made reservations accordingly. I also went to the Ghibli Museum and Shibuya Sky. Took a day trip to Kamakura and Yokohama too. Tokyo is perfectly enjoyable on your own, there's so much to see and do!

How much time of my three months vacation should I stay in Tokyo, 2 week ? Helpful video.

Thank you for watching! I believe 2 weeks is enough (even a week may be enough)😉 There are so many nice places beside Tokyo, so hope you can find them as much as you can😊 Have fun!

are there bike rentals in Tokyo? just so that we can move around the city faster? would your recommend it?
@JapanwithNao8 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching😉 There are some but not sure it's easy for foreigners😱 It's harder to find a parking spot in Tokyo so I don't recommend it anyway😲

Sumimasen. I'm planning to take the train from Narita Airport to Tokyo. Can I use my IC card to tap through the ticket gate and board the Keisei Skyliner or JR NEX, or do I need to purchase a physical ticket beforehand? Thank you. 😊
@JapanwithNao8 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching😉 I suppose you need to buy a physical ticket too. I believe www.jreast.co.jp/multi/en/nex/tickets/ can tell you more👌 Have fun!
@msgeen8 ай бұрын
@@JapanwithNao Thanks for your help, Nao! I appreciate your kindness. 🥰
@Moonstone-Redux2 ай бұрын
Limited Express trains like the Skyliner and the N'EX have their tickets split into two components: the distance component and the express train supplement. While you can tap in directly to the ticket gate to enter the platforms, you will still need to buy a ticket at the ticket machine to get a seat reservation for the express train. There may be machines inside the paid areas of the platforms to buy a seat reservation, but it is better for you to buy it before you tap in to the platform. Some companies may encode the seat reservation information directly into your IC card so you may not be issued a physical ticket.

@catherinebutler48198 ай бұрын
Depending where you're staying, a bus may be a better option than a train for getting to your hotel. There are buses that go from Haneda to many of the popular areas (and even some individual hotels) directly.
@leonardkim86318 ай бұрын
@@catherinebutler4819 Thanks for tip. Shall do more research on this.
@JapanwithNao8 ай бұрын
@leonardkim8631 Thank you for watching! You can check the bus as an option💯 It takes more time than usual because of traffic jams. It all depends on what you prioritize😉 Have fun anyway!

I always use the Airport Limousine bus from and to the airport while in Tokyo, so I don't have to navigate the trains since I travel heavy with at least 1 large suitcase and 1 carry-on. Another option is sending your luggage to your accommodation with yamato transport, but the Limousine bus is cheaper and it allows you to check in 2 suitcases in their luggage space.
