Thanks so much for re- emphasizing these precautions re the dengue outbreak. However, so many persons are using zinc to to guide the rainwater to their tanks/ drums and generally failed to cover them. May I suggest that they can use fabric/ used clothing to cover these drums in lieu of commercial mesh. Just use cord to reinforce it.

Hey Keshanite, I'm so happy you love my channel. As an orchid grower, the first thing is to be consistent. Consistent watering, fertilization and pest and disease care. Research the major type of orchids and select the ones that best suit your growing conditions. Growing orchids is a wonderful world to explore and I'm sure you will enjoy it. Good day. Thanks for sharing. i saw somewhere (cant recall source) that bromeliads actually traps and absorb the mosquito or the eggs and so it cannot reproduce on it

Hello there friend. I do not believe that the bromeliad plants traps and absorb mosquito eggs and larvae, perhaps what happen is that the tadpoles also breed inside of the bromeliad plants and so they may feed on the mosquito larvae. However for the most part, if the mosquito lays her eggs in these plants, once you do not destroy them, and the water remains, there is the likely chance that they will develop in to larvae and then adult mosquitoes. Hi Arlene, that's a very good question. That is why the fogging schedule should be shared with the public so that persons with Bees and fish take the necessary steps to protect them.
