Thank you for the good info. Just bought hds 9 live 3 in 1. I'm operating it as a stand alone unit. My question is if I'm running just the 3 in 1 transducer what channel port on the back should it be plugged into. I was told channel 2. Any help grateful. Thx

In chart screen my boat icon isn’t leaving a trail.. my older lowrance always did… it will leave a trail when I record, any reason why? Running HDs live 7

just got the hds12 live when on sonar it does not show depth . but it does show water temp .can someone help me with this?

Are the soft keys on the right always displayed? I've watched a lot of HDS videos and never seen one where there wasn't. Hard to call that a 9" display when only 6 inches is display, the rest is soft keys. I suspect there's some way to turn off those keys and allow the sonar image to occupy the entire screen, just never seen a tutorial or review video that showed it.

Just select the full-screen button to revoke the data bar from the screen.

Great video, very informative, but I just realized your bypassed surface clarity in the advanced options. I just got a HDS Live 9 and had a lot of clutter in my screen, so I adjusted the surface clarity to high. Will that mean I am missing anything due to sensitivity being too high?

It could be because of your scroll speed. Try increasing slightly.
