Salaam, I hope you are well. I watched your turkey videos when I went to Turkey in May, it was so useful. Now, I am going to Umrah with my husband next month from the UK, then we will travel from Jeddah to Dhaka, holiday in bangladesh and then back to the UK. We are going to Medinah first. Problem is, we will take 3 large suitcase, so total weight will be 80kg, 2 side bags, laptop bag. I saw this video, read online, the security will not allow this, is that correct? If that is the case, then we have to take a large taxi from medina to mecca....can you recommend a good taxi service that is reliable and won't rip us off. Thank you.

Selam, thank you for watching. There is no major taxi company unfortunately. It's all individual drivers. When it comes to Madinah to Makkah I wouldn't pay more than 600 local currency. This si for large van with 9 seats. You will see them all over the place front of the hotel.

Yes but honestly you are probably better off just taking regular yellow taxi for 200-300 local currency.

Asak, Insha Allah we family travelling to Makkah n Madina next month via Saudi Airlines (Check in bag) with 79CM bags and 1 baby stroller (foldable). In train will they allow large bags? Or they stopping and checking bag size??? Will they charge extra for bag? Please share your experience in details with related to luggage. Others can also please share experience with luggage please. Selam, Yes they 100% check every bags multiple times. If you have bags that are larger or additional bags they will not allow it on the train. You will have to pay shipping fees for those bags.

Salam, I think you will be fine brother since it's so close. Worst case they will charge you about 100 local currency.

I'm 99% sure they do if not worst case you might have to buy regular adult ticket for the little one. Also, I do know they don't count stroller as luggage which helps.

Do they go over each dim on its own or is the overall dim calculated? Like if I'm 5cm off in height but the other dim are lower than the limit, would that help?

Where are the Haramain train stations in Madina and Mecca?

Both are within 10 minutes of taxi ride from the Masjids. Also, white buses are free they will take you to train station.
