Folks have pointed out the sins committed by man in the first game, but what the hell, I'll reiterate: - SPYral Resort not blowing itself up the first turn it was played in EP - Zefraniu searching a Zefra S/T despite it being destroyed by Zefra War as Chain Link 2 - *the worst Zefra pilot I have ever seen* But you know, I think it's fair for the viewers to mald alongside the series, because then it would ring quite hollow

@@Dunker401 Zefra monsters would actively have prevented gavin from getting back into the game at any given point. Zefranui would have gotten a 2nd search during gavin's turn, and the Yang Zing counter trap shuffles the negated card back into the deck, meaning Resort would have popped itself turn 1, so Gavin wouldn't be able to search his first copy of tough, which ended up eating 1 of MBT's pops with Master Peace. Effectively that cheat from Gavin + the misunderstanding of zefranui cost MBT 3 cards of advantage.

I'm sure tons of people will grill MBT for losing an already won game. They'll tell you about how he doesn't activate his Zefranui, about how he could but never went to retrieve the Zefras in GY that were used for XYZ, about how popping the Witch with Master Peace was a stupid move since he could have done it after attacking here and keep the pop for something more important... Don't listen to any of them, they don't know what they are talking about. Listed to me, I'll tell you exactly why he lost. The reason he lost is simple. He didn't add to his deck the True Draco taht requires 3 Tributes. That thing could have gotten over that SPYRAL, and in the unlikely case it was destroyed, it would ahve summoned Zarc himself from the Extra. That's why he lost, the game was lost even before it started XD.

Juuust a heads up. When an activation is negated, like with Nine Pillars, the thing whose activation is negated has its chainlink deleted, so the last thing to happen, if Nine Pillars is CL2, is the resolution of Nine Pillars, so the Yang Zings DON'T miss timing on their own counter trap. Also also, Zefraniu DOES get to search when it's destroyed by card effect, such as by Nine Pillars.

They changed to this format so everyone got the same number of games in. The reason is because MBT won a season in the sense that he won the most games but still managed to not get enough points to qualify as the over all winner despite coming in first the most.
