Maximum Football 24 or ESG Football 24, who will deliver?

I really feel like madden is soulless with no real identity. It wants to be simulation but add all these arcade aspects to the gameplay that make it less fun somehow. It has the pretty presentations and game announcers but deep down it’s really missing that feeling you get when you watch the nfl. Those animations are really what pushes me away from madden too. Those same broken tackle animations and seeing the same 5 tackle animations is so boring. That’s one thing I was super vocal about in the maximum discord. We see how boring football games get when it’s animation based tackles and everything feels like it’s on rail. A different tackle playing out every single time you turn on the game will keep people coming back which is why Backbreaker is even still mentioned. Football simulator gets a bad rep cause it’s more arcade football but one thing is you’ll always see a different tackle even in its current unfinished state and that keeps the gameplay fun. I think companies should just go back to making fun, arcade football like the blitz series or nfl street but with ragdoll tackles.

Maximum. I'll try esg because it's a cool idea but I'm not a fan of online only. I'm more excited for Macimum and Varsity. The more FB games that are non ea the better. ESG animations and motion capture look great. The fluid and smooth realistic movements from passing, blocking, catching, tackling. If it looks like wjat we've saw it'll look the best out of them all

these games look great. if they had ea money to get the models running whatever its literally a night and day difference. i do hope ea loses their exclusivity deal because whoever is paying them can definitely dish out a couple dollars to the bottom guys.

EA does not have competition. The bottom guys can't compete. Back when NFL license was open the other studios were real players. Microsoft studios, 989 Sports, Sega Sports/2k, Acclaim Sports. It takes a juggernaut to beat a juggernaut. Gaming has no depth today.

If 2k don't reawaken EA will continue to reign in football. This is why this generation of gaming has no depth. Everyone stays in the lane. Studios are creating one annual project per year because technology is advancing and takes more time to produce. Gaming will never be the way we knew it again

These games aren't it. Can't complain about Madden when these games gameplay don't even come close to licking Madden's asshole. Don't want to hear these games need more time like developing sim fball is just that easy. Ppl said the same shit about axis and 10 years later ....right. Your only hope is 2k. The failure of all these indie fball games trying to do simulation is gonna give 2k so much leverage, you'll be a goddamn slave if they ever release another fball game. They're gonna take monetization to a whole new level if they do a new fball game.
