I’m a dynasty/franchise type of player. And I personally feel like Maximum Football is going to give me a better user experience than Madden ever could. Which is why instead of spending my yearly 60 dollar disappointment I’m going to save those funds for when/if Maximum Football releases any special purchase-able content, since it is free to play after all.

If madden changed presentation and commentary I'd be stoked for this year's. IF maximum can give us a presentation closer to the old 2k games then I likely will be playing that full time.

Once mods drop for Maximum, specifically NFL mods, its gonna be my go to for sure. Although, i like the fictional teams they have.

Madden is Madden it’s a franchise and always a must have with real NFL rosters with the teams we love. Maximum on the other hand is a must cop with the dope concepts we dream of as kids. Even with NCAA and Madden around.

I don't expect Max Football on console until '25 so Madden will grab the money this year but with Max Football along with their own College game and 2K's game possibly all next year it's gonna be interesting

I will hold my thoughts on the comparison of these two until I have each and play both but I have to say that after over a decade of disappointments I am leaning towards Maximum Football. I do agree as to what you stated about game play being better in Maddness 24 but I am not a huge fan of predetermined events and that game has tons of them. I would say the most appealing thing about Maximum is the usage of real time physics! Appreciate your time and the content, thanks C!

I'm interested to see what they do with the crowd noise, the pregame and halftime show, and I wonder if the chain gang is going to be used through the game. I'm a franchise and dynasty player so the tiny stuff really matter to me 😅

EA In hot water. 2K5 was cheap when it came out and madden did what they did. Now with maximum football being free, let’s see what EA end up doing to adjust to that in the next couple years

Your ok, you ain’t the only one. Maximum Football is a Double A Studio Title that was purchased a few years ago by Modus games. It was previously handled by Dug Flutie along with a handful of others. Under the old teams belt they only released 2-3 games. This will be the 1st entry of the series for Modus games. The game will be Free to play and launches for PC Early Access this Fall. It will release fully shortly after that to PlayStation 4&5, Xbox One/Series consoles along with PC! Hope this helps

Considering that I can’t make it past the second quarter of a game in Madden without wanting to quit whether I’m winning or losing, I’m gonna go with Maximum. I don’t expect Maximum’s gameplay to be as polished but I expect it to be more enjoyable to sit down and play because it will be simpler. Graphically Madden might be slightly better but not enough to make a difference in my opinion

I agree with pretty much everything you said, but I do hope both games are absolutely amazing , Yeah I haven't liked Madden in like 8 or 10 years but it's not because I hate EA or don't like football or something. I want the games to be great but they just never put out great games. I know they could do way better. I've seen them do it a long time ago on like the PS2 , but I hope both games are like 10 out of 10 games and very fun. But if I could only choose one to be great I would hope it's maximum football because it's a free to play game. It's not going to come out every year with a new version for me to buy, but I hope they're both good but with Madden I'm definitely going to wait on reviews and to see what you think about it before I buy it if I buy it but great video! I enjoyed it. Look forward to your next one

No excuse for a Billion Dollar company! EA sucks! Madden has been lackluster for 20 yrs! Yes, graphically its ok but why not given the advanced technology at their disposal! As for Modus, what they are trying to do is great, however I think they are trying to put too many different things in one game! At the end of the day, gameplay and graphics are more important than the other stuff. Features are very important like customizations! I would like to see one of the two allow advanced voice recognition! Such as: audibles, formation changes, coverage changes, etc... this would give users total immersion!

I was glad to read that Maximum football will coming out on the consoles in Europe too...I saw a announcement in the PS store of my country because I had my doubt about that....normally only Madden would be available even the College Football games were very difficult to get in the past. I bought by coincidence for the PS3 at a gameshop who sold some American content My only question is what's exactly free to play at Maximum football? Is it only exhibition games or can you starting a league for free with a team from your own choice? I am very curious about that ....!! Thanks for the video....👍

I will play both. While there are many things I want improved in Madden but I'll list a couple that drive my crazy. Hit sticks happen way too much, it's the worst way to tackle in real life but in Madden they are very effective. Hitch routes and come backs, the ball location is terrible. You throw the ball with the defender facing away as the WR is making his break and the WR turns around but doesn't react like he's expecting the ball. Many a time the ball just goes over his helmet without him putting his arms up on the hitch and on the comeback he will sometimes just turn around as if it's a hitch route and not come back at all. Bubble screen ball location is just as bad even when you are trying to lead pass up and out it's always behind the RB or WR so he'll come back or to a complete stop. The "sucked" in feeling of player movement around the line of scrimmage, it feels like you are being dragged into an animation even before there is physical contact between players.

Totally agree with what your saying, we will see when Madden releases in August how things have improved, but as far as the beta goes at this moment I will say gameplay does feel smoother than years past.

We know Madden will be dogcrap, it always is and always will be so long as all they care about is MUT, they keep using the Frostbite Engine, and the current crew stay in charge. What we don't know is how good or bad Maximum will be. They aren't showing a lot of in game action and that is worrisome this late in development. What we did see didn't impress me as some legacy pass defense AI seems to still be around. The difference is Madden wants you to pay a premium price for their known POS, and Maximum will be free, so I will be giving it a shot. Madden is dead to me, literally and figuratively.
