I have a TA-22 and love it, but I wish it looked like the TA-20 Plus with the tube-jail, VU meter and volume display. I'd consider swapping but I have the 22 mostly for it's DAC+Tube combo which then drives my Stax L-700Mk2s through an SRM-717 I restored. The TA-32 looks very interesting, I'm eagerly awaiting your video on it when it finally comes out ♥

I purchased my TA-22 about 2 weeks ago, when it was on sale. Wish I had seen this review sooner. I’m using the Stax SR-2170, Frado SR325i and Fiio FH-7 I think the tubes are now starting to open up. Have you tried any other tubes? I’m thinking of the Genelex Gold Lion, but will consider other tubes that have been tried and tested

I have a TA-22, does not come with a remote, love it, absolutely, tube swapping did not seem to make a sound difference oddly enough, but idc, will experiment more eventually

@@stephengorka1161 So far I have a pair of gold pin JJ’s that I had in a TA-20, solid bass and everything sounds good, then another pair of some old random cheap GE 5964’s? Had a few other decent pairs that I sold a while ago but yea I am completely happy with the JJ’s, may try the stock tubes just for a comparison, i didn’t put them in originally

Can't you use a 4.4mm pentacon to two xlr out from the headphone jack to your speakers or amp instead of using the rca's in the back? The mt604's were able to be used as a preamp with the 4.4mm pentacon from the front headphone jack.

Zeos, I remember the xDuoo XQ-100 was fail because you weren't able to make it work, so you weren't able to give it proper review. The original XQ-50 Pro Bluetooth receiver is a keeper for me but I was looking forward to your impressions of the XQ-100.

Xduoo Ta20 Plus is nuetral and sounds the same as THX 789.

How about a ta-20 plus sound comparison to the ta-20 you have on the rack. I currently have a ta-20 and 30 different brands and years of matched 12au7 and 12bh7 tubes or equivalents. Just hadn't seen any review comparisons between the ta-20 and plus to say its even worth buying a ta-20 plus.

The Topping sr22 aluminum rack solved this for me. I stacked my e70, l70, and ta 20 plus on this rack with the xduoo on the top.

Hey Zeos, do you hear a slight hum from the TA-20 Plus. No noise or hum coming from the headphones, but a slight mechanical hum coming from the unit itself. Did you replace the rectifier tube as well?

@@chungang7037 My ta-20 plus definitely has a slight audible hum emanating from the device itself. I wonder if Zeos is paying the ultimate price for listening to sounds and music all day for the reviews. I wonder at what db he's listening to music. I would be very surprised if his hearing hasn't degraded at all.

@@johenkay1129 I think I also saw some people saying swapping the tubes improved things. To be honest I am fed up with the guessing game, the tube rolling sounds like a minefield and I don't live in the US so getting a hold of them is hard. I think I am going to go back to IFI's offering for a warmer sound signature instead.

How are the included tubes? In reading comments I see folks saying noise, vibrations, and not so great. How is it stock? How does it compare to your roll?

I had no problem with the original tubes, I only swapped to the apos ray to see if there would be a large enough improvement to warrant changing tubes. I did find there to be a slight difference but not a required step. No noise or sensitivity with my original set

I had the TA-22, loved it and so did my custom Grado style headphones. Then the relays failed. I was heart broken. And now I need an amp and a little apprehensive to get back in bed with Xduoo. Just realized Xduoo is like a hot girlfriend.

Well since its a pure Tube the TA26 does more for Dynamics like the HD600. This is 70% as good as a true tube and works on every type of headphone.

An actual full tube would get too much interference from BT. The TA22 is hybrid like this with BT

Do either of these come with a remote to use in s Stereo setup? That would be a nice Preamp to use with a power amp. What is the balance of Stereo videos compared to Desk setup videos? Wish there was more Stereo and HT stuff here. Desk/headphone stuff could move to your other fetish channel? just thinking.

So the question lingering in my mind is will a pure tube amp provide more variance than a hybrid tube amp)
