Reflections look more prominent in 5 (6 looks like everything is painted in matte instead), and there's some really subtle lighting changes in 6. Otherwise looks very similar

WMMT6 is going to use story line from 3DX+, this is good since WMMT4 up until 5DX+ based the chapters from the anime and it's boring.

You're correct, but wrong. You see, WMMT6 still uses 4-5DX+ stories, and 3-3DX+ for 61-100. And as I have observed, they are still based on the anime/manga. BTW the game doesn't make sense if the story isn't based on the real anime/manga story, thus making the game "pointless" because of NO OR LESS references from the anime/manga. Just to remind you, please DO NOT forget that this game is supposed to promote Wangan Midnight and its contents to boost their popularity, and since everyone likes WMMT, BANDAI NAMCO decided to extend WMMT's life until now.

If you don't like a boring game, find a game that is based from a show/anime/manga/etc. and their story is totally not based or take any reference from the story.

Biggest difference? AI physics. Now it's harder to defeat story rivals and ghosts, and you (kind of) need to fully tune your car (to defeat ghosts).

FujiYatakashi nah you can set the ghost's hp to a hp that is close to your car - so it doesn't mean you need a full tuned car

It doesn't matter too much what it looks like now anyway, just like in MT4, they can still make last minute changes if they wanted to. Remember when we got a short period in MT4 where neons in the daytime were darker? They only changed it back to the crazy bright neons on the following patch. So whatever MT6 looks like now, it may change when we get an international release anyway.

The difference, 5 has no porsches in the lineup, in 6 theres porsches now, The AI’s have changed their cars, Like seen in the video, And they got a new design for the km/h showing (in digits) On 6 for BanaPassport users.

Maximum Tune 6 adds more detail like the animated fireworks at the Fuji TV building and the flashing colors at the Tokyo Big Sight near Wangan Expressway. They also redrawn first 60 chapters to match the new aero parts for the cars and some obvious difference like Ishida's Corvette being changed to an Aventador, and that's it.

It was done since Japan changed the roads from time to time. All the tracks in Maximum Tune series are similar to those in real life, if you use Google Maps and go on street view, you'll notice the roads were the same as in the game.
