This video was great and mega helpful! I was hoping someone might help me though. I set up all my systems and roms using the portable download provided. However my goal is to use a steam link to access the emulators through emulationstation through my steam library. However the only way that will work is if I use the .exe file because that's the only file type that can be added to the steam library. When I try to open ES through the .exe it says that there are no systems set up? Whereas if I load the portable file everything loads up just fine. Is there a way to fix it so that opening the .exe gives me access to everything I've set up? Thanks!

I'm going to use the Raspberry Pi for my main emulation system. Would I be able to transfer all the config files to the raspberry Pi once i've set it all up on Windows? All my games will be on an sata hard drive.

Don't use the version of EmulationStation listed here (aka the official one). It hasn't been updated for years and has major issues. There are several forks that have been updated (e.g. the RetroPi version) and had the major issues (e.g. massive startup times on large libraries) fixed.
