Maximus reveals himself to Thaddeus | Maximus vs Thaddeus | Fallout 1x5

I think Maximus really does pick the worst dialogue options. Could have said, "Sir Titus died in the line of duty, and I wanted to carry on his legacy," or "Sir Titus was a coward, but I wanted to preserve the Brotherhood's ideas and image," or just "He got mauled by a bear, and I didn't want to leave the mission." But instead, he says the threatening and vague "He's dead. Let's get our story straight." And I'm honestly for Maximus making horrible dialogue choices. Who hasn't said the wrong thing during a Fallout playthrough?

I really liked the friendship that him and Thaddeus were building up until this point. Hopefully Thaddeus and Maximus can rekindle it in season 2 now that he's most likely turning in to a super mutant or a ghoul. They had the type of friendship that dudes their age would have with one another.

Maximus should have picked his words carefully. He implied he killed Titus and would kill Thaddeus if he ratted him out.

Yeah I know what you mean but I think folks are forgetting they’re gonna have character progression! I’m sure the creators know folks hate his inability to articulate 😂 but if it’s true to FO their gonna bump Maxs speech
