Maxjax was ripping me off! Expensive Motor failure!!

after several years of service my Maxjax M6 lift had a failure. I was able to troubleshoot the issue and found bad motor run and start capacitors. Maxjax was asking for a small fortune to replace them.

Typical cheap chinese capaca capacitors .... guess why they're smaller than equivalent name-brand units =)

Because they are junk. Then they can shaft you for 200 dollars. Lol

@@gautorepair They're cunning ~ usually they have them made/printed with non-standard values, giving the illusion you MUST buy their parts.... incidentally, google 'capaca capacitors' ... ...

Mine doesn't even lift or lower. The motor is freezing up but I think it might be the actual pump. I didn't even lift a car on it yet
