I have a Samsung S4 which someone rooted using SuperSU. I unrooted it using superSU, which then uninstalled itself after the phone restarted. However I am still unable to get the phone to perform a software update. It still tells me that my device has been modified. Can you please help?

Good video. I had to unroot and return my GS2 to stock for warranty purposes. I took it to Sprint got it fixed for free, got home, rooted again with Odin, reinstalled my recovery, and reinstalled my backup. Process took 20 minutes. Team Samsung For Life. High ON Android!

Rooting is completely different between phones and manufacturers. I remember rooting my evo 3d. It was really complicated. my epic 4g touch, one click odin, installed a custom recovery and flashed a rom. I then later installed twrp2 and flashed a JB rom.

i have my phone rooted, want to install cyanogen 11 4.4kitkat, but ANY cyanogen i try installing i get that 7 error, so i can`t install even CWM6.0.4.7.. then after using ur tut, i get the 6.. then it`s too much for me.. USB connection busted so... what could i do? :(

I have TWRP loaded on my Nexus 4 for backup of some customs ROMs. Do I still need to use ODIN? Or can I just follow your instructions to load the Google factory images?

So when you change the recovery back to stock, you will then have the stock ROM? Or do you flash stock ROM then flash stock ROM? This is for a nexus 10.

Also, I unrooted my t-mo note 2 restored completely to factory flash counter and all. then installed the (mb4) lte stock firmware. after installing i got board and flashed a few roms to see which one works best. after my second c.rom my phones 4g would not connect, i unrooted, rerooted, restored to stock LJ1, then upgraded via kies to mb4 once again, no matter what i did, i couldn't get 4g, i even used apn manager to try lots of t-mo apns, i finally got intermittent 4g, do you have any advice?

What if you lose your IMEI and the rest of your NV files? Are you able to flash stock back using odin and get those files back also? (TmoSamsungGs3)

Samsung and nexus devices are the easiest to root and unroot by far but HTC easy to root but fucking hard to unroot if you don't have s off eg HTC holiday/vivid/velocity 4g can't unroot
