Max, your battery voltage was too low. Start your engine before turning on the inverter. Also, you are right about the cables, bigger will definitely help. Good video, hugs to mum!:))

I tried that (off camera) Ron and unfortunately still no dice. I am on the lookout for larger cables but I think one of the real issues is that I got the inverter from Australia not realizing that this meant it was 220v not 110v. Sending the inverter back with mum and gonna have to somehow source a new one down here!

@@MaxLeeandOccy I was worried about that when I saw the video - Is your van AC generally 120VAC or 230VAC or a mixed bag? Otherwise you could use a step up transformer if the blender is the only thing - should be available in Peru but maybe bulky for your power requirement. Hopefully the 50Hz/60Hz thing is not also an issue.... Peru & Argentina is in the 220 to 240VAC, 50Hz club and use an Aussie plug! Colombia is not as you probably know now.

For her 70th she, my sister and I went to Disney and Epcot and stayed in a hotel there. We also did a trip to NYC with my niece. A 17 year old and 70 year old, that was fun lol. I'm enjoying watching your second episode now, not sad this time, it's just fun to watch today. You and Max will enjoy those pictures and memories for ever. I'm so glad they are taking a break now and hopefully recouping and reconnecting with their families. And I hope Lee visits her Grandma lol Thanks again, take care! I can not believe that I have been waiting months for this video & then days before it is released, my world turns upside down. My daughter & her hubby was in a terrible car crash & drs thought she had broke her back in 2 places. By the grace of God she is fine, but I was a complete basket case for awhile. I am not done watching this video, but I just wanted to say hi to you guys & to your mum. I hope I haven't missed her. I cried like a baby when Occy greated her. What your Mum forgot to tell you was flying into Santiago is awesomely scenic. You fly in the jetstream at 1000kph until you get to southern Chile, then fly up the coast, then probably past Viña del Mar, do a big u turn and virtually glide along side the Andes Mountains. This time of year, they are fully covered in snow. Carlos speaks a little Quechua? At the risk of sounding like Molly Meldrum, look for Renata Flores on youtube. She is an 18 year old Peruvian singer who sings modern songs in Quechua. Even a Michael Jackson song. Just a side note, last trip to Chile, I was buying bottles of Pisco Sour for $2.83 Australian dollars a bottle. Great Video. Everyone should visit South America before they die.

LOVED all the music in this video! Your mum is great - she seems really supportive of your lifestyle, and giving the bloke the card during the shots was such a Mum thing to do hahaha. Too bad about the inverter. Overload on the blender sounds like a voltage issue.
