I’m not so sure she was “meant” to die young. This series of videos is so well done I just can’t help but wonder what Lee might be doing if she hadn’t felt so desperate to end her life. It sure seems as if van life can be hazardous to ones health. Especially if your a woman. 🤷🏼♀️
@beautybyleanne762 жыл бұрын
@@islandbirdw van life wasn’t “hazardous” to her health….it was the hateful trolls who relentlessly bullied her online (mostly here on KZbin). She was treated awfully, called horrible names, mainly by one asshole who (i believe) was jealous of Max and her relationship. He was a wannabe Vanlife KZbinr who took pleasure in being a prick. He’s gone from here now and has to live with knowing that all the horrible shit he said and harm he caused took a life!
@islandbirdw2 жыл бұрын
@@beautybyleanne76”Hazardous” “risky, dangerous” It’s the risky part, exposing your life on YT comes with its own set of inherent risks. One of which is exposing yourself to strangers on line. So yes IMO exposing ones lifestyle on a public website like KZbin comes with its own set of hazards. Gabbie & Lee are casualties.

Love whatever you post, always authentic and fun, as well as our regular Occie oxytocin surge. Really like when you go deeper into the challenges for the locals and surrounding ecology, they're the ones that tend to stay with us, the volcano, manatees and daily river crossings. We're also having Sprinter challenges, so totally empathise, had a close one yesterday when the steering failed on a motorway. Needs mending with a new one now, I reckon! Happy travels, folks and thanks for another great video!

i totally love max and lee + occy. what i'd like? for starters, maybe for you guys not to worry so much about what you think we'd like to see! no really. for example, worrying about us getting motion sickness from some footage of a rocky road. for me, without some of those real life nitty gritty moments, it can feel a little...well, sanitized. eating is great, whether out or in! sightseeing is great! sunrises & sunsets! amazing vistas! new friends on the road! the many kindnesses shown by total strangers! your real anxiety and fear about events! regular daily stuff for you, so we can compare our daily routines lol. vehicle issues (and how they're solved)! your love and delight in each other, and this amazing world we inhabit. you're quite extraordinary people on an extraordinary adventure. with the great kindness and generosity to share your journey with us. and i, for one, enjoy those moments of stunning natural beauty more, by seeing the direct contrast of some of the obstacles it's taken to get there -- like those scary river crossings in Costa Rica! i feel blessed to have been invited to share your journey. so no worries. enjoy. :)

It costs us around 10 bucks total for all 3 of us per night. Not bad for in the heart of the city! And you know what, we honestly don't know where all the days go haha. I don’t really know how I stumbled across your videos of the three of y’alls journey through life. However, I am so glad I did! I have truly enjoyed tuning in with your travels and just day to day. I have a few questions about your van build.

Amazing! Great to see an Escobar relic, can imagine it would feel surreal being there. Also loving being a patreon, getting early access, patreon only content and being able to help support the amazing content that you guys put out. Thanks

It was crazy Brendon!! And thank you so much for your support as a Patron!! I honestly don't think we'd be able to keep producing content without the wonderful support from our Patreon family!!

I love you videos because you are both (and the adorable Occy) so authentic and nothing is done just for shown. I also love how you throw in little bits of history etc about the places you visit, they make me feel even more like I'm there and learning all the local info. Max's Spanish seems to be coming along quite well, how's Lee going with learning it? I am seriously happy to watch anything you put out, when you were saying you have to hang around the town where you are to get the sprinter fixed, I think you manage really well to put out interesting videos full of local information, historical, political, social, cultural etc. I just want to hear that everything is A OKAY with the van BEFORE you head off into the wild blue Colombian yonder so we can all feel secure in knowing you won't have trouble!! Stay safe. Love and blessings from Australia xoxo

Hey Angela, thank you, as always for your love, support and feedback! Max is doing well with his Spanish, I on the other hand am lacking his confidence with speaking, I tend to overthink and become much more shy than my true self with fear of speaking incorrectly. However, after much time my comprehension is improving and I hope continued exposure to the language will keep helping both of us with our competency. So far we think all the van issues are solved but will keep you up to date xx

@@MaxLeeandOccy but also stop to think...maybe that is exactly why you had this meteorical rise to almost 200k subs. You forget yourselves and give what people want and they lap it up (I do too...a big fan)!

yee Its funny . I went vegan for a while. Looking back, it was some of the best tasting food ive ever made. I think it was because i was putting so much thought and effort into my meals trying to compensate for not having meat in there.
