What counts as a separate “award search”? If you search on a city + specific dates and look at multiple hotels that are returned by the search engine is that a single search? Or does it count each hotel you click on for a set of dates? Thanks for the great content!

Good question! Every time you input a search form and any date changes counts as one award search

Hands down- this is one of the best channel regarding how to actually execute travel plan with points and miles. Other channels are great but most of the time they are talking about what cards to get or what can you do with points but very fewer real life execution. I appreciate your channel focus on that part. I've never been to Okinawa but The Hyatt Regencys looks pretty good for around 12k - 17k a night. The cash price seems really cheap though, might be better to save the points and pay the cash price.

Thanks! IHG actually has an award calendar on their website it’s kind of hidden though . You have to find a date with no award availability then they’ll show you a button to see the award calendar

​@@MaxMilesPoints Yes, I've seen that video and I love it! It has worked for me MOST of the time, but there are a few properties it doesn't seem to work for. The Venetian in Las Vegas for example, will often show cash rates rather than the "no award availability" language. After you find a completely booked date, the "View available dates" option will not display the calendar. At least not the many, many times I have tried it.

Hyatt absolutely does have an awards calendar. You just have to access it from a computer, not a smartphone

That award calendar you are thinking of shows off-peak, standard, and peak award rates. Not real-time award availability. The Bilt x Awayz calendar shows real-time award availability.
